They offer slightly higher rates but they are not straight forward to deal with They don t reply to online messages conflicting emails sent with differing details I d advise not to put your savings with this company and look elsewhere

Birmingham Bank look to be a regional outpost of Better com the mortgage company whose CEO Vishal Garg made famous by sacking 900 employees over Zoom I can only assume he s also sacked everyone of any ability at Birmingham Bank as well I called the number of a gentleman I d previously done business with with only to be told that he no longer worked there The young gentleman I spoke to could not have been more helpful and explained that he d pass my details on I did not hear back until I called again to be told that the young gentleman I d spoken to also now no longer worked there I therefore assume that Birmingham Bank is playing employee speed dating or there is simply a revolving door I decided to take my business elsewhere

Non existent support
I opened a bond with Birmingham Bank they asked me to set up a password for security reasons The following day I wanted to log into their savings portal so put in my email address and password they then sent me a OTP to my phone when I entered the 6 digit number I got a message to say it was invalid I tried once again and got the same message At this point I requested a new OTP and this time I was told the new one had expired I ve emailed them twice because I appear to be locked out however they can t be bothered to reply

opened a 5yr bond yesterday
opened a 5yr bond yesterday took numerous attempts with one time password to sign in today again numerous attempts and now telling me i have made too many attempts with incorrect password which were CORRECT and now says i am locked out for 24 hours i just want my money back now if it was possible
