Disappointed that they tarnished so quickly

Delivery was efficient but very disappointed that within 2 days the plaques had already tarnished Went with this brand as thought it would be good as certainly not the cheapest on the market

Sales and Production excellent Customer Service could be better

The Website is good and the Order Processing Procedure worked well Emails were answered promptly right through to the Order Placement After Confirmation of an anticipated Delivery Date the Communication dried up It was necessary to call repeatedly to find out the Status of the Order as Emails went unanswered The Ordered Item was very difficult to manufacture and apparently it took 4 Attempts before it passed Internal Quality Control It was eventually collected direct from the Factory and was very good

Good quality spoiled by a small error

The plaque itself is of good quality and the whole product is solid and well made However the two screw holes at the back of the plaque are not directly aligned which means the plaque itself is slightly crooked when attached to the stake So a good quality job has been compromised by a simple small error in drilling guide holes for the screws

The labels were ok but did not come with the self adhesive backing

The labels were the standard quality however the labels did not come with the self adhesive backing and if they did have this it only covered half the label This will result in the label becoming unstuck in time maybe you have to define how much you want Pillinger do this as standard i think there labels are of better quality Overall not a bad ordering procedure just let down with the lack of effort on the self adhesive backing This is preferred even if using the securing pins

Brass plaque engraving was great

Brass plaque engraving was great Mahogany finish back board was disappointing as it wasn t wood but painted board Also it would have been nice to be able to secret fix to wall behind brass plate and fit plate over afterwards

Engineering Quality - Reference 238672

We purchase engraved stainless steel automotive sill plates which we have been very happy with The prices are very good and the products have been to a high standard Sadly with the last order the requested beveled edge had been dropped and therefore overlooked from the agreed artwork Secondly and more importantly the countersunk holes must have been drilled too quickly and so the circumference had a notched effect and not a smooth circular hole to match the screws These are of course minor issues and so satisfied over all

I am surprised at the poor quality

I am surprised at the poor quality of the back plate Described as light oak it was no more than a painted piece of composite For 153 I would have expected wood

Quite supportive resources are good instructions and navigations using the site were good Also given the opportunity to see examples of items before committing to the sale Good experience Items are of good quality

Great service and quality The compatibility of the post to the plaque could be better 3 fixing points and only 2 required the 3rd is half visible which looks a bit odd

Excellent brass plaque and steel stake but the wooden backing board looked like waterproofed MDF and its pre-drilled holes were not perfectly vertical
