change happens too soon

these companies do not make it clear that you are making an immediate change and not the a three day future choice I asked for an 8 4 23 date of change on 7 29 23 and an hour later I was with a new company I was offered a better than comparable amount per kwh a few days before my end date and before I could make a correction 55mins later I had already been switch What happened to the 3 days

You re representing or rude they don t understand English well and you all are liars and cheats You are truly the worst company I have ever had This is my second review and I also turned you into the Better Business Bureau in which you did not respond Truly you suck

900 electric bill

Energy Texas made a mistake with our billing and charged us 900 for our electric bill when our normal bill is 200 We contacted support and they gave us the runaround and wouldn t help When we tried doing a chargeback on it they immediately ha guess they contact you fast when you try to get your money back call us and threaten us with collections which hits your credit rating Terrible terrible company

All of the options on the website are just a bunch of different confusing plan options I am guessing all meant for the power companies to lure people into something and then stick them to absurd bills Singing up for an energy plan shouldn t be this confusing and require 2 weeks of research What happened to a real fixed rate that is easy to understand This website is not helpful at all

More Expensive Than Ever

It was suggested I went with Gexa Energy and I have now paid more than ever in electricity fees and I am incredibly unsatisfied with the service I will do my own research when my contract is up

Gexa fine print rate hike scam

Went with Gexa energy to a rate that was half of what I was paying only to find out the fine print made it 1 and 1 2 times more than what I was paying After the 1st bill I called to complain and they lowered the rate to half the rate of energy but after all the fees and tax s it brought it back up to just under what I was paying originally So I saved very little per month and had to lock it in for a year

I submitted a request to switch provider almost a month back and I did not receive any confirmation for this change It feels so unreliable to switch to them

Customer service representative was rude didn t explain anything felt like I was being sold on something w o hearing my options Can t speak English good enough to understand what she was saying Argued with me over the zip code Talked over me when I d talk I hung up and not sure how she got us power w o my approval I was planning to call someone else today Horrible experience
