They don t know what customer service

They don t know what customer service is They will take your money for house and forget about everything else snagging taking forever and they give you every excuse not to do it Saleswoman Janice was exceptional but they have lost her as she has left and it will just go down hill from here Very poorWorst company ever

Caution if purchasing

Houses and estate well designed Build quality so-so but generally acceptable Finish and hidden quick fix repaired damage to fittings such as bathroom ceramics and crap paintwork detracts from what would have been a fantastic purchase Our local mgr on site at the time Frank did everything he could to avoid you once you raised an issue on the finish etc I had damage porcelain bathroom appliances ended up replacing 2 sinks and and toilet at cost Told the aforementioned man on site that I had a crack on a small window and as shown to his Boss The previous week who said tell him His response We ve got service problems with the glass supplier of you can wait a few weeks Circa 6 years on NOWT BEST BIT FOLKS THE GLASS SUPPLIER MANUFACTURER FOR MY WINDOW WAS THEIR IN-HOUSE SISTER COMPANY TALK ABOUT BULL H T

We have a community group called uphall station village residents on Facebook Here is a wee feed from the page to show you a wee insight to Dundas Estates I hope it gives you a real understanding and feel free to join the Facebook page is you need any questions on the Dundas homes and customer care Dundas have now lost another sales consultant leaving new home owners looking for answers via a Facebook channel due to the neglect of customer care Post Has anyone been allowed in to their reserved home to allow for contractors for flooring and blinds to be measured before getting the keys Im not sure who to contact now as weve not been informed of another contact for uphall station Comment We got the company who done our flooring to go in she met with Janice and then went into the house We weren t allowed to go in with her though not sure who is the sales person but I m sure they would be able to help Reply to comment Janice was replaced by a Laura who s now also left I miss Janice I feel she would have sorted it I ll try calum I think he manages all sites so Seems like customer care has spiralled out of control When you try to call the sales line no one answers the calls Shame they let Janice go when an employee has your customers at heart they are a keeper Shame this poor managed company is having such a negative impact of paying customers

Uphall Station Village - Awful Builder

We bought our house 18 months ago and the after care has been non existent None of our snagging has been done despite chasing numerous times and there is a LOT Once they have your money the care ends there Also they promoted that there would be a convenient path that would connect to the train station making it a quick 10 minute walk great for commuters and as luck would have it would be opening in time for us moving in 18 months later the path is still not there meaning that 10 minute walk is now more like 30 because you have to walk half the way in the opposite direction Fantastic at 6am

Be wary of snagging items

Houses ok Not top tier but reasonable value Problem is the after sales service for snagging items and warranty repairs We are still waiting for the 2 bathroom radiators to be fixed after 2 5 years There must have been 10 visits by different electricians and plumbers to determine the wiring elements weren t working The whole acceptance of the property is rushed Ours was in middle of winter and when dark It s like we were liars when we pointed out snagging items after acceptance A local residents group has been formed because of collective issues with remedying items Be careful if you buy and don t sign acceptance form till you re totally happy

Would not recommend and so far i have put off 2 people from buying there too Not helpful anyway Bought my house 4 weeks ago and all the windows are scratched and they will do nothing about it Yet it was their cleaners who scratched them

Unhappy customer

We recently bought a house from Dundas Estates in Milnathort A retaining wall has been built in the middle of the rear garden and according to Perth and Kinross council has not been built in accordance with the approved plans and is therefore unauthorised We will therefore never be able to sell our house along with a whole street of new homeowners Also once you have bought a house from Dundas forget about any snagging issues being solved

Giving dundas homes even 1 star is through gritted teeth before commiting to buying a dundas homes I d do your homework first This company is so unprofessional on how they build houses and treat there customers Once they have your money they couldn t care less about you or your home I ve had loads of faults from day one and in now nearly a year and still no further forward now they say they are not doing repairs just go deal with nhbc

Be very careful of the doors fitted

Be very careful of the doors fitted - my mum can t open them due to faulty fitting This could be a death trap if my kitchen was on fire They are now refusing to fix them again due to being over 2 years warranty - problems where reported at 7 day and 6 months snagging Customer service from their Senior customer service coordinator is shocking - should not be in customer care

Poor communication regarding the state of the grounds in A New Build Estate where DUNDAS ESTATES are still building in West Lothian
