Great team

My Car broke down and I had to pull into the road opposite Easy Access Self Storage in Bredbury I had my German Shepherd and another person in the car after coming back from the Vets as my dog was recovering from a major operation After calling the RAC I was told I would have to wait an hour I popped in to Easy Access to ask if I could use their toilet I explained what had happened and they kindly offered to let us and my dog come into the warm office and made a cup of coffe for us I called for a black cab to take us and my dog back home but they refused to take my dog Kevin heard the gist of the call and kindly offered to take me and my dog back home in his Jag with my dog calmly sat on the back seat we arrived home in style which I was extremely grateful to Kevin for as my dog was incredibly thirsty He took me back to my car to wait in their reception I had to wait a further 4 hours for the RAC so the kind staff at Easy Access Self Storage really saved my day and I am eternally grateful for their wonderful hospitality and Kevin is my hero for helping us out in a difficult situation

Quality service

I was recently storing at their trafford store and the young lad there was really helpful Due to needing too move closer to home I transferred to their other store in Stockport Both stores made this so much more easier and helped an already stressful situation go a lot smoother I was even welcomed to have a cup of tea with the days being so cold by the guys in Stockport I would definitely recommend these guys if any of my family or friends needed storage

Definitely will come again

Definitely will come again During my time renting a sizeable container for a couple of months I really enjoyed - very professional responsive and friendly staff - a great value for money for the space I had- 24 7 secure access - truly coming in ANYTIME you want - that was a deal breaker for meI only had two little niggles Once my payment did not come through on time and a padlock was placed on my unit absolutely understandable no issue here but even 3 days after receiving payment it was still there Thankfully that was resolved immediately but would not have been great if I came when the office was closed Another time my access fob and would not let me in I had to come again another day which was rather annoying but again that was resolved immediately Overall really positive experience and if I needed storage in the future and their prices were still as competitive as they are now I would definitely come back again You may need a little bit of muscle to open the doors btw

Awful

Please avoid this storage company at all costs They signed me up to a short term contract in 2015 that became a rolling contract after 6 weeks They then increased the costs a month later without notifying me and added extra charges each month with no explanation After 4 months of the additional charges I refused to pay any further they stated that if no payment was received within 28 days they would proceed to repossess my storage contents and sell it on to recover the outstanding balance Given the contents of the storage had a monetary value of around 9k and the maximum they could recover given the rolling content was 3 months of 180 monthly payments I accepted the possessions were to be repossessed 2 and a half years on they have apparently tried issuing legal proceedings and debt recovery with no success and they have now passed the debt on to an unlicensed debt collector who having questioned his eligibility to collect debts from consumers as he owns the business Vehicle Wrapping Manchester the individual confirmed he has no license to collect debts This individual has been calling late at night issuing threats if I do not attend a meeting to arrange payment of the alleged debt Easy Access Storage claim to still have my possessions even after notifying me they would be sold off if payment wasn t received and are now seeking 3 000 Following these threats and my partner being extremely concerned and anxious I left an honest review of my experience with easy access storage on Google Since then I have had an employee of the business contact me demanding I take my review on google down claiming it does not give a fair representation of the company and that the third party approached me regarding the alleged debt off his own back He also asked how I intended to repay the alleged 3 000 balance I have had to pass all information to the police A highly unprofessional business my advice is do not do business with this company

I won t be using them again

Simple review storage not water tight destroyed some of my antique furniture resulting in great financial cost The solution they came up with was to erect a plastic garden tent to keep my stock dry They said they would reduce the rate if I was to stay as a means of compensation I run a respected vintage furniture business how could I operate from such a shoddy amateur outfit and hope to look professional steer clear at ALL costs Now locked out of the unit and stock more than likely getting ruined as I refuse to pay for a failed service Had some poor excuses as to the warrant of their actions very upsetting especially as I am unable to work due to poor health I am considering legal action against them as they literally have ruined my business I was also highly embarrassed when I spoke to other storage facilities and explained why I needed a new storage option I ll post any response I get not that I am holding my breath

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST

We took up the storage unit for a family member who was moving house From the beginning it was not easy From the first meeting I was advised that our belongings would fit in a certain size of unit but then when we came to move in the belongings it wasn t big enough They did not have the next size unit available so we had to take the next size up again They promised they would contact us over the next few weeks when a slightly smaller cheaper unit became available we could move everything In all the time that our belongings were there we never received a call from them about this Also we had to chase them over invoices that were over charged we had to chase up getting the credit from them Which toileting be fair they did sort out When we went to remove the belongings when we no longer needed the storage we were told that there had been a security breach a few days earlier our additional padlock that we put on had gone missing We were told that they had replaced the padlock that they supplied with a new one We were told in an email that we would be reimbursed with the cost of our missing padlock but when I chased this up another member of the team said that this is not company policy I would not be receiving a refund for it despite paying for insurance The story changed on the events of the security breach depending who emailed me or who I spoke to so much so that it became very confusing the story tied me up in knots They said that they had refunded the cost of the lock that they supplied but this was not the issue the figures that they quoted were deliberately confusing to leave doubt in my mind about what had happened This is because invoices are generated a few weeks in advance the insurance is calculated on a daily rate so it is impossible to keep up with It left us wondering for weeks even now if anything had gone missing from our storage unit I asked for a copy of the CCTV footage that they said showed no security breach even though we were told off one of the staff members that there had been one I asked for a copy of the CCTV footage but apparently that is not possible due to GDPR I was offered a discount on any further storage that I take with them Needless to say I did not take them up on the offer When moving house it is stressful enough This only made it more stressful
