Endlessly Chasing for Refund

My experience with Easy Access Storage started a great one the units are easily accessible secure and the initial staff couldn t of been more helpful However the customer service and administration is appalling Weeks have gone by with endless emails which are ignored plus several telephone calls and a personal visit to the site to get refunded my deposit funds which I might add has only been partially refunded as they miss-calculated the charges of rental Having got no where with getting the miss calculation refunded I am now still chasing a late payment fee which shouldn t of been applied and I have been told several times this has been processed I am yet to receive this refund almost 2 months after moving out of the storage unit If you re happy to chase and chase for months on end for money you are owed then use Easy Access Storage otherwise I d use somewhere else

Not very good at returning the security deposit

The storage facility at Manchester Trafford Park is new and the units are of a very good standard with easy access as they are all outside I had rented a unit for 8 weeks and would have rated them 5 stars except for the way I was dealt with regarding the return of my security deposit which is charged on all rentals I handed the unit back on Friday 25th May 2018 and was told I would receive a cheque in the post in respect of the security deposit I didn t expect it to come immediately but after 2 weeks and no sign I contacted the company and was told it can take up to 21 days but they would chase it up with their accounts department On Saturday the 16 6 18 I sent an email informing them the deposit cheque had still not arrived and was advised by Arron via email that he would chase up the accounts department on Monday and get back to me I had still heard nothing by late Tuesday the 19th June and sent a further email I received the following reply on Wednesday 20th June Apologies for the delay in reply it was my day off yesterday I have your cheque in store would you like me to post this out today or would it be more convenient to pick up from our Trafford store As I was busy for the next couple of days I said I would rather have it posted out I followed this up by a phone call on Friday 22nd June and was told the cheque had been posted to me Thursday By Tuesday 26th June I had still not received and I fired off another email saying my patience was wearing thin I then received a phone call from Steve who I believe is the manager at Trafford Park who was very apologetic and told me the he had spoken to the accounts department who said the cheque had left their office then they rang him back to say it hadn t and was still with them very strange as I got an email on the 20th June saying the cheque was at the Trafford Park store Anyway Steve arranged for the cheque to be taken to the store and I collected it on the 27th June So whilst the storage units and the place itself are excellent the lack customer care in returning the security deposit lets them down If you therefore require your deposit to be returned quickly the perhaps based on my experience this company is not for you

The team are amazing and friendly they all ways help us out and accommodate us as we need a bigger unit and that got us one right away good on price and everything is Secure and all way happy to help you

Saved me from a headache

Called quite late due to a previous storage company s reception closing my removal service was delayed so they could no longer be accepted and I had them an hour away with nowhere to unload as my flat wasn t ready yet Thankfully I called easy access self storage and Sam saved my day and managed to get me booked in paid and admin sorted in a matter of minutes and now my items are securely stowed Professional and reasonably priced but most importantly reliable and easy to use
