I just completed another outstanding purchase and tech support appointment with Geek Squad at the Manchester NH Best Buy store I ve been a customer with them for several years and I wouldn t dream of going anywhere else -- they always do an excellent job Today I needed to delete a couple of unused Microsoft email accounts Microsoft doesn t make that especially easy Don and his trainee figured that out in no time Then I wanted to install a permanent Microsoft Office license to replace my Office 365 They saved me 100 on that purchase by asking questions that determined which product truly met my needs but didn t give me stuff I don t need want The annual service membership for Geek Squad has always paid for itself It covers 3 devices so it s well worth the low price The service approach at Best Buy and the Geek Squad is all about helping customers and their staff very notably today s team always spend the time needed to fully take care of any issues and their attitudes are always positive and friendly I highly recommend Best Buy and the Geek Squad in particular

Rip Off - Don t Use for Apple Products
Rip Off They tried to charge me several different fees for a product that is under factory warranty Took it up with the Apple Store and they replaced my product for free on the spot These geeks are dishonest hipster trash They also didn t sanitize anything and follow basic Pandemic Protocols Go to the Apple Store instead of the Geeks They should be ashamed of themselves for possibly spreading COVID as well as blatantly ripping off consumers F these dorks

Waste of time and money Geek Squad phone reps - in Mexico - are poorly trained give different information every time you call and invariably fail to schedule the appointment despite giving assurances that it is a high priority and someone will call No one calls No one communicates Nothing happens It has all the feel of a scam

I had to engage Geek Squad for technical assistance but unfortunately my experience has been quite disappointing Initially I contacted them due to an issue with my computer s power supply which they promptly addressed However the problem persisted leading to subsequent visits where they replaced the fan and motherboard Despite these efforts the issue remains unresolved This recurring problem has left me frustrated and it s disheartening that I had to go through multiple repairs without a satisfactory resolution If it were possible I would have given a zero-star rating I hope Geek Squad can improve their diagnostic and repair services to better meet customer expectations

Wow more dark press for Geek Squad
Wow 89 negative reviews Should have checked here first In brief made an appt with Geek Squad before traveling an hour each way to have a fan replaced in a 6 year old Lenovo Y50-70 Wasn t until I arrived for the appt that they told me they couldn t work on my machine because it was too old Wanted to provide this feedback to Geek Squad in a constructive way to recommend they simply add the question of how old is the machine to their initial issue interview thus saving customers wasted time effort and mileage but Best Buy stopped accepting reviews on Geek Squad several 3 years ago And now we know why Sad devolvement of an otherwise brilliant business decision
