Poor performance and clunky infrastructure

Ordered a server as an upgrade to a cheap system currently used for game hosting Despite being twice the cost and on paper having much better hardware the performance of the server was terrible and significantly worse than the cheaper system The management UI for your servers is also not great Definitely better out there Just amending this review to add that after posting this I got a badly written and snarky email calling me unfair Gg guys not helping

Very nice and friendly support but

Very nice and friendly support but their servers are not good I have tried different type of Rust servers in the past 12 months NOT ONE has been without lagging I have been offered solutions to move the server which I have I have tried locations such as Stockholm London Partis Frankfurt They all have been lagging like hell as soon as the server gets populated They are not stable at all IF you want to run a serious community this is not the place

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible there are some staff that are good The this a hole Pedro is a kunt this person always places blame on you even if it is fully and 100 percent the company in its selves own problem with their own programing we pay you for reliable service and with a person like this working for you is going to hurt the company way more then me ever telling the truth about the company they do not care that we the client pays their bills and house payments insteed they what to give line of BULLSHEIT when ever they can i urge anyone deciding to use this company go to another company for these guys are fuacking scumbag oh yeah the first 3 months with them they also double charged me and had to credit my account there is so much more i could list from the nurmous amount of webits and game panel issues to the endless excusses given by this so called staff member PEDRO in their discord and the endless lies even after shown proof of their website and game panel having issues oh yeah then he will ban you for bringing these things to their attention Hmm that sounds right for a company that does not give a crap about its clients

Horrible customer service update

I read up on the recommended server companies for Valheim and decided to go with GTX After 4 days without being able to login and there horrible customer service I asked for a refund The manager that they transferred me to convinced me to give them another shot and got all my mods up and running Today there was a few updates and not I am back with their horrible customer service trying to get the game to load They give the most generic answer like they really don t know what they are doing There is a mod update on the GTX server site but according to the representative it doesn t do anything and I need to upload and install the server version of the mod on the server Whatever the manager did none of the mods show up on the file list but magically they all work The representative can t tell me why There is no way to add my mods to the mod list on the GTX site I also can t just copy folders over the files have to be loaded one at a time after you create all the folders and subfolders one at a time I feel like they figured out the most difficult way to do things and went with that The representative didn t understand when I asked about a server proxy Oh and after I get all of this fixed I have to do it on every one of my friends computers so they can play the game with me I asked the representative if I could use the Thunderstore mod manager and he didn t know what that was Apparently the only mod site that they know about is Nexus mods and the Nexus mod manager doesn t work with their servers After I posted this GTX got it so I could log into my server and play again They were immediately asking it I could delete or upgrade my comment due to them doing their job I went on travel and when I got back the other day and there were 2 updates I installed them on my computer and then tried to install them on the GTX server and I do not have permission to edit any of the folders which means that I can t play my Valheim game on the server that I rent I was going to give it 2 or 3 updates and if things were going well come here and upgrade my comments and star rating That doesn t look very hopeful Trustpilot sent me an email saying that GTX wants more information from me and the link has the option for me to give them my information This is also to help them verify that I had a genuine experience with their business They know exactly who I am because they responded via IM on the GTX site less than 5 minutes after me posting here

I have been on four other server host

I have been on four other server host and only changed because I got a better deal GTX is hands down the worst server host I ever had They have no idea how to run a server host and the name of the game is lie and blame the customer

They don t know what they are doing and it s your fault

They don t want to tell you the truth and they want to blame everything on the customer and if you don t except that then they do everything they can to run you off Make backing up the game take 20 to 30 minutes raise your ping so its impossible to play The passwords you have been using for two years suddenly doesn t work because there is a symbol in it and it s your fault I have gone days on end without restarting my server and suddenly it has to be restarted every 8 to 12 hours or RCON shuts down and even restarting every 12 hours it still shuts down but it has to be my fault because I changed something when I didn t I have stayed there because of the price but they are about to succeed in running me off even after restarting RCON wont work They change to port and don t tell you Well out of retalliation they shut down my server I would not recomment these people to anyone

Instant cancellation deleted data scummy business

I don t know what kind of game they re playing when cancellation of a monthly paid service comes with the default option selected that you want to immediately cancel the server give it back to them and have them delete everything on it despite you having paid until the end of the month The way to change it is a light grey on white background drop down menu that is incredibly easy to miss hello The default should be that I get what I paid for Then if you do switch it to end of month and they then fail your cancellation request because you didn t leave a reason which really frick off I shouldn t have to leave a reason but if you don t then they reset the instant cancellation dropdown menu selection so that it goes back to the default option which of course is taking away what I paid for so they can make an extra dime on my behalf So scummy tbh There s also no interface to remove your cancellation request even though they haven t processed it This company will do literally anything they can to make more money off you

I never had this canid of situation

I pay extra to get Swedish location Server and IP and I got German and then Finish I never had this problem And it was somehow acceptable for them that IP was sowing wrong country in Battlemetrics where I search servers in my country to play Ticket 335355 we cant fix it sorry thats just the data center sometimes does not trace correclt on their routes etc

lost connection to my sanity

I am currently renting a HLL server from them If you like lag bugs snd the message saying lost connection to host search no more this is the best provider for you

NO BACKUPS RISK TO LOSE ALL

They don t have a good backup service After 1 month of playing a cheater entered the world and corrupted the actual save and they had no internal backup to restore the world If you don t want to risk all of your data don t use this service
