if you get an email that it is soon time to pay for a server DO NOT PAY i payd in advance and then later it witdrew money again the system will 100 see when you dont pay and the system wont give a rats ass if you already payd for the service it will charge you doubble for that month when you login on their website it will say You have an unpaid invoice Pay it now to avoid interruption in service and i thought if i did that the paypal bill wuld be canceled but it charged twice some hustle and i got my money back

Charged for a service that was terminated without my knowledge

In august I rented a space engineers serverThe PayPal payment plan apparently didn t auto renew so when I got the late notice in September I fixed it But with overtime at work I wasn t able to play Yesterday November 8th I went to play assuming the server would be up Well it turns out since it was 4 days late they terminated it and deleted all backups losing about 400hours of progressAnd kept charging me on PayPalI lost a month and a half of service paid after it was terminated without them informing me and all of mine and my partners progress When I reached out to support and they said there were no backups they gave me 10 of credit or 30 days So didn t even give me a complete refund for the service I paid for that didn t exist anymore

GTX Gaming billing is terrible

GTX Gaming has a great Admin control console Of course it s no better than any other besides GSKings I started a VPS server with GTX and decided to change to a Dedicated machine for Rust After a couple of months I realized due to them turning off my server for non-payment even though it was set to auto-pay through PayPal that they had charged me 2 extra payments 88 46 for the VPS server that was canceled when I got the dedicated gaming server One payment was processed through my PayPal account and one through my bank account They refunded the payment that was processed through the PayPal account but said the other could take 72 hours Mind you this was in mid Feb 2024 I asked how these charges could have been applied and their response was We can t control your auto-pay on PayPal Okay what about the transaction that was taken from my bank account that still to date has not been refunded In March 2024 they canceled my dedicated gaming server while I was out of town and I didn t notice until 2 days after the disconnection The payment was set to auto-draft from PayPal so not sure how that happened further the players who were playing on the servers had already gotten frustrated and left I understand GTX will say We send out multiple emails about your payment I say I am already having payment issues with your company and have never had any other problems with payments through other game server hosts Pay me the money you owe me and get better with billing My latest support transaction with their support and their reply Posted by JB on Sunday March 17th 2024 22 26 OwnerI never received the 88 46 that was charged to me after the VPS was canceled I received one reimbursement of 88 46 charged to PayPal but still have not been refunded for the following transaction Transaction ID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Total 88 46 Jan 13th 2024 Please check previous Support Tickets sent on Feb 15th 2024 for more information on my refund Also your company canceled my dedicated server even though it was set to auto-pay through PayPal I do not want it turned back on because your company is terrible at billing and extremely inconsistent Posted by Brian Hillier on Sunday March 17th 2024 22 41 OperatorHello J Passing this to our billing team to be further checked for you Once they return tot he office they will get back to you regarding this Also check to see if you have cancelled all paypal subscriptions as explained in this guide How to cancel a PayPal subscription If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to ask Brian HillierSenior Support Agent

The service is easy to use but even though I have great internet there is a good bit of lag

As far as how the server runs

As far as how the server runs it seems fantastic No lag no crashes no odd shutdowns However I have to rate only 3 stars because of my conflicting encounters with support The first support person I spoke to before even purchasing the server was terrific He answered all my questions was friendly assured me that support would help me if I had any troubles and in a nutshell is what prompted me to go ahead and order the server Unfortunately I did run into troubles as I was new to the setup The support person who replied to me was very rude I had even explained that I was inexperienced He did help me however he wasn t exactly friendly about it He did it for me rather than explaining to me what I was doing wrong or pointing me in the right direction My honest opinion is that its not user friendly for the newcomer or for someone that doesn t know how to set up manually without something handy like TCAdmin controls for instance I m sorry but I can t say I d recommend this site unless the person I was recommending to was an experienced server owner

Unturned Problems

Im trying to make a server for Unturned But its not working out at all i try to do settings no it wont read in even if i restart

Easy to buy but so far quality of Teamspeak server is unusable even with three users on fast broadband connections Hoping it stabilises over time

No thanks

Shared hosting despite paying 70 USD per month for a server couldn t handle the population and server load Server was basically down for 3 days while they tried setting us up on a new server after new server Support was quick to respond and tried to offer solutions but nothing they did was working for us We ended up going with cheaper hosting with a different company and our server has ran flawless since 3 stars for the support service and the 50 refund Refund policy states they will refund in 24 hours manager gave me a 50 refund after 3 days I still feel it should have been a full refund since my server was basically unplayable all 3 days they worked on different options but I ll take what I can get i suppose If you run a popular server with a high population I would not recommend this host

Great features eclipsed by shallow support

I agree with previous reviews like Fast reply - bad service in regard to their tech support That said I will point some things out that set GTX apart in other areas For Rust there are few companies that match GTX s ease of use features that make managing a server much easier When compared with 4 other top hosts GTX comes first for their back-end interface features I ve also seen a couple of updates happen to improve the interface even more In regard to tech support I always received prompt replies The problem is that they do not resolve problems efficiently or at all The higher price relative to other hosts does not match the level of support provided I expect more substance followup and to not disregard the questions I ask It s important to really listen to your customers

The server functions well but

The server functions well but the UI for managing the server sucks Settings can be hidden at times and updating mods is tedious Honestly it s just very rigid and painful to do things to the server
