Disappointing leaving experience after 2 years
Great prices and user interface Customer support has promptly helped me in the past with any issues related to service Decided after almost 2 years of consistent monthly payments to cancel as I no longer used my service I believe I gave about 5 days notice and it said cancellation was processed I was then charged as if I had not cancelled I wasn t just charged though The invoice I received was the exact same invoice I had received the month prior that I had already paid for in full Same order ID and due date on both the original invoice and the invoice I was charged for after cancelling So I was charged again for an invoice that was already successfully processed over a month agoI messaged support about the duplicated invoices despite cancelling my service 5 days before and whilst I received incredibly fast responses within minutes I was essentially told it was my fault and no blame was taken by GTXGaming The exact response I received was If you are still sending payments then you must not have canceled your Paypal subscription and need to do so inside your Paypal account I don t believe any offense was intended but this seemed quite disrespectful considering 0 responsibility was taken I most definitely did not send any intentional payments and if I had why would it have been sent in relation to an invoice I had already paid a month prior Surely there is a way for the seller to cancel payment subscriptions automatically such as the other sellers I have setup Paypal subscriptions with and then cancelled through their website not Paypal And if not maybe add a note to customers when they are told the service is cancelled that it is in fact cancelled but the payments are not and they have to manually cancel those I am of course being sarcastic I don t actually believe this is the way it is set up At least I hope not and this was instead the result of an automation error However if this is the case of some error I think just blaming it on the customer is a bit rude after I ve used GTXgaming for over 2 consistent years I was refunded in the end which was nice and quick like most support interactions on the site It s unfortunate considering the good experience I had prior to this that next time I need a server hosting provider I won t instantly be returning to GTXGaming as I previously have and instead will have a look at some other providers
