Our oil did not come by the designated

Our oil did not come by the designated day in fact it was 3 days late and during that time we had no heating at all as the tank was empty But worst of all we had no communications from the company advising us of any of this we had to constantly ring them ourselves to find out what was happening We were very upset that we didn t get our delivery the day after it was due as a priority for failing a customer due to how their systems worked Some compensation for our severe inconvenience would be nice Won t use them again

Ordered and given a provisional delivery window but that has been missed Worryingly the tank is almost empty I will have to buy an emergency top up to tide me over Despite the public request to email nothing has happened Looks like this was just to appear to take action

Failed to deliver on the date agreed Only found out it had been rescheduled after I rang the company No communication at all Said I d receive a text or phone call to confirm date and nothing was received Was delivered 5 days late from agreed date Will not be using this company again

No communication from this company Delivery missed x2 Ran out of oil so no heat hot water or cooking We had to chase Certas and promises not fulfilled Not happy

Late delivery no customer service avoid

I paid the premium price for a quicker delivery but they missed the date They do not offer any customer service whatsoever You get emails back from Certas essentially saying it s online only we can t help they will get back to you at some point I am waiting for a refund of the premium I paid vs the standard price

Arrived to deliver without requested phone call to unlock tank at 7am my car was in the driveway and delivery person did not bother to ring the door I then spent 3 hours on the phone trying to ask for the missed delivery to be made I was passed from depot to seller for this time learning the name of the driver but little all useful help

Poor customer service

Oil was not delivered by the date I paid extra for Turns out heating oil co uk is part of Certas energy not an independent sourcing site as I had previously thought Communication was non existent by email Just automated no reply emails reassuring me they were looking in to it They weren t Finally I found a phone number 0345 600 4040 and then it was delivered within a couple of days although I had to be very persistent to get that in place They had clearly overcommitted themselves Incidentally the website was still offering express delivery even though they were running more than a week behind orders as it was Now I know it s all certas I will pay a few pence more and order from smaller local suppliers who are more reliable

Requested to be informed night before

Requested to be informed night before delivery as my oil tank is in a locked cupboard Turned up without calling when I was at work so they couldn t deliver I rang and spoke to customer service who assured me that I would be contacted the night before the re-delivery Got a call on a Saturday morning from the tanker driver saying he was 20 minutes away Not contacted the night before Lucky I was in this time Price was ok but customer service poor and NOT hassle free
