Appalling service

Appalling service I Was waiting 5 days before anything happened Kept getting told there is nobody in my area who can replace the keys Day 4 I was told i have to find a keycare company myself and pay them direct out of my own pocket and claim the money back after work of complete Eventually got through to management who sorted my query Shocking service

never take out insurance with key care it make worst decision when I took policy with this company even manager is very rude staff is rude delayed a lot and no compensate time all done wrong please stay away from this company

Refused to help

NO you refused to take out the other half of the key that broke off and was stuck in the driver door saying I m not covered for that So basically if the key get s broken when I m out of reach of my house I m screwed not happy about that I think I ll look elsewhere when my policy is due for renewal

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service break your origional key then blame you Awful customer care rude staff lies and manipulate things to get out of issues they have caused Basically a total lack of customer care and not a ethical company Please please avoid See the Google reviews Please don t give them any money they are truly terrible Thank you

Wouldn t recommend to anyone

Wont replace a key for you you do all the work and pay over 100 and all they are allowed to pay you back is 60 make it make sense

Sent out a technician Couldn t fit key Broke door lock mechanism so I couldn t lock my car Janet from customer service was absolutely shocking speaking to me like crap also talking over me well I m not the manager cancelled straight away and got the car fixed myself Wouldn t recommend to my worst enemy

Tech couldn t program the replacement

Tech couldn t program the replacement key took it to Volvo dealer without asking and then curbed the front driver alloy on return Pleasant enough and just said it would be marked down as not programmable Bit of an expensive waste of time really

Wouldn t recommend at all better off sorting it out yourself which is what they tell you to do and you receive money back from them

Lack of transparency - very poor

Agent did not tell me when I called that a claim needed to be made within 40 days If I had known an exact recorded date was needed I would have called back after checking instead I was encouraged to make a guess on the date and THEN told we won t cover it I was told I should have remembered the T Cs that were sent to me 3 years ago which state 40 days Nonsense - KeyCare should have made this clear on their web page or when I called Their approach is not transparent nor human KeyCare give insurance companies a bad name Very poor

with AA foover 30 years and

I ve been with AA for over 30 years and been paying for a service with Keycare and received a poor service I ve had to do everything myself I was told I had to arrange my own transport for getting my vehicle to a main dealer or arrange for a locksmith myself When paying for a service I would expect this to be done for me I had emailed all the information they asked for and I was emailed back from them saying they had not received any the fact that you have to pay up front to the locksmith out of your own pocket and then wait over 3 weeks before my money was refunded is not acceptable Because of the disappointing servic I won t be renewing this service
