Renewal nightmare with Mackenzie Hodgson Bike insurance

Got a renewal from Mackenzie Hodgson and they d made a mistake in the details I called the number on their letter and they said they couldn t see my policy as it wasn t on their bit of the system they also couldn t see my name or address on their system even though I ve been with them for years Turns out the team that deal with my policy can t be called so they said they d get them to call me back ASAP That was about 4 hours ago As I was concerned about what would happen if I needed to make a claim I called the claims numer on my insurance and it was answered by someone working for FourthDimension representing Carole Nash Insurance I asked of she also represented Mackenzie Hodgson customers and she said no but when I gave her my broker ref SUMYxxx she could see my details So who s insuring me Carole Nash or Mackenzie Hodgson

You say dont worry your policy is auto renewal you remain insured but i wasnt was i I travelled over 400 miles the other weekend not knowing that i wasnt insured Apparently my credit card had expired you didnt have my new details WHY dont you have a department that sends out reminders if this happens I should have checked myself but when i got an email with the same review as this i automatically assumed that i was insured until i received a letter on the Tuesday saying my policy was cancelled So NO i wasnt happy with your service not that you will read or reply to my review

awful company that don t seem to know how to arrange or cancel insurance avoid at all costs Terrible customer service and communication

Not there when we needed them

My brother and I had taken out policies with Mackenzie Hodgson to take advantages of their European breakdown cover for our motorcycle trip to Europe When my brother broke down in Austria and I phoned the claims line I just was passed from pillar to post and we ended up having to rely on the good will of strangers who were excellent MH just weren t there for us when we needed them I ll never use them again

Taken my money then cancelled my policy and kept the moneyThieves and scammers After this review was posted they did refund most of the money however because they cancelled my policy I can no longer find an insurer that will cover meI d have been better off if I hadn t hired them at all

Website misleading

Website misleading I was looking for a multibike policy for 9 bikes ranging from modern to classic and vintage when calling a very unhelpful Lady told me they only do 4 modern bikes or 5 classic bikes so could not quote for 9 I suggest website is changed to reflect this as motorcycle collections is mention several times we wouldn t waste each others time then

Come renewal time renewal quote increased nearly 10fold And over 10x more expensive than confused com etc results I had a bike nicked bust roof and angle-ground numerous locks n chains but DIDNT CLAIM It shows up on system as Not Claimed still my fault apparently but that s irrelevant and tough s417 gotta pay like I did Even got Popo and Cctv footage Disgraceful man on phone CBA to care or do anything about it are they on commission to ruin their customers 5hrs phonecalls later 1 lady sorted a better price out but still as if I had claimed for the loss So now I loose twice Never again Reply to reply It s comical Beth I spent HOURS on the phone and absolutely noone gave a s Previously HOURS on the phone trying to report the theft but noone could understand the reference number that was on your letter to me All the apologies in the world after a fkup but 0 cares about not f-up to start with even when you re privvy to all the facts And noone ever calls back not when they say they will or days later Reply to Sarah please stop apologising for any inconvenience misunderstanding There s not Any about it You have royally fkedup And as for explaining any misunderstanding you have quite literally repeated what I said I didn t claim There is no misunderstanding Just a massive con
