After a review my order has been dispatched I am not happy with my experience But at least my order has been shipped

A small item was missing from my order but it was easy to send an email and I got a quick response All sortedWill he happy to buy other things in future What I bought is very good quality

Ordered a Maggis Puppy and when ordering on 26th June I was told of computer system problems that were delaying orders Very sceptical and wasn t sure if this was a scam I had two further emails again referring to delays but have now received what I ordered It is exactly what I ordered well packaged and delivered by DPD as shown on the website We were away so rescheduled the delivery easily through DPD but this would have been delivered two days ago if we were around These come from France too which will also likely add some time on delivery Many reviews here are saying this is a scam site but in my experience it is not a scam I m not saying they ll get any customer service awards this year but I have received what I ordered and it was only a week or so later than I would perhaps have expected from France Hopefully their system technical issues will resolve themselves soon

It is clear this company has pulled it socks up The customer service is now a team of people and not just the angry lady I seemed to get mid 2022 They now also call you back when you have an issue I have bought from this company a few times now and despite my last order being late it was eventually sorted to my full satisfaction I would buy from this company again

Didn t spend too much time researching as Made in Design appeared to have what I wanted some garden furniture for immediate delivery It was only after I placed the order that I saw the very large number of poor reviews and so decided to cancel the order rather than run the risk of a protracted delivery from France and the resulting customs checks as the UK is now a 3rd country I m please to report that since I posted my initial review I was contacted and the matter was quickly dealt with and I received an immediate refund via PayPal So I m replacing my initial 1 with a 4

Although I waited rather a long time for my product to be delivered it arrived in perfect condition and I m extremely happy with it I managed to purchase this item around 50 00 cheaper than anywhere else When I spoke to customer services about the long wait I was notified that there had been a system change which was resulting in longer waiting times I spoke to several people who I assume were French who were charming sympathetic helpful and spoke exceptionally good English All in all although it took longer to receive my product I wasn t in a hurry fortunately I can honestly say it was worth the wait and the large saving Order 200327577

I wish we had seen the reviews before ordering My wife ordered 2 HAY armchairs and and small HAY stool on the 2nd of April and since then no updated have been given They say on their website that goods will be delivered between 5 - 8 working days We sent them a follow up email on the 14th of April but still no answer so our only conclusion is that this is not a real company but a well designed SCAM Update The furniture arrived and is good condition so I have changed my review Just a little scary when you don t hear back from them and when it takes much longer than necessary The company could easily fix this with an automated updates system

I ve had a run of bad luck with online shopping recently and when I saw the reviews for this site after I d ordered I thought oh no here we go again Thankfully my order did arrive Only 4 stars though as it says on the site Delivery by DPD or Royal mail within 5 to 7 days and it actually took a full 14 days Also I emailed support a few days ago as it looked like my parcel had gone into a chronopost black hole for 10 days but Made in Design didn t reply

I too expected the worst but it all worked perfectly well The reason I won t give 5 stars is that the customer service response is poor both by email and phone But it all came together and on time I didn t expect it As a postscript the company promised a 10 refund and that arrived today 2 Feb My overall conclusion is that this is a disorganised rather than dishonest supplier But I wouldn t use again for that reason unless they sold something unavailable elsewhere
