Reliable company highly recommended
I chose northbound because being a local company I felt they would know best about the type of car the insurance and so on needed in the country I was not wrong apart from the car being spotless the whole rental process was very easy and lots of information was provided before and during the trip

Northbound offered the best price for a 4x4
Northbound offered the best price for a 4x4 and although the car was old we had no issues at all The office is off airport but the collection and drop off was quick and the staff were really friendly

Great experience - recommended
Northbound s website enabled us to compare prices and find a good deal Communication with Northbound was quick friendly and helpful We chose to make changes to our booking in the days before our trip These were handled efficiently by Northbound and the revised booking information had clearly been communicated to the vehicle provider when we arrived We will certainly use Northbound for our vehicle rental when we return to Iceland

Easy pickup and drop off
Easy pickup and drop off we picked up the car in Reykjavik and returned it in Keflavik Good service with nice staff that went through the contract with us and even gave us usage of the car for two extra hours for free We didn t experience any problems and would book a car through Northbound again the next time visiting Iceland

Great service
Great service We did book the 2023 Jeep Compass Automatic but when we arrived found we couldn t fit all of our luggage in the boot Our fault - 4 people too much stuff Staff were really good in quickly finding a replacement with a bigger boot that we could just about squeeze into at no extra cost No issues with the vehicle Collection drop off and bus transfers were very smooth We did notice that the queues at the on airport car hire firms were very very long so were really glad we d chosen Go Iceland

NORTHBOUND and MyCar is
My wife and I are very pleased to have booked the car using your service and your partner MyCar is I would recommend both as currently I judge the experience to be more than positive The car had the same model and features better still it was the 2023 model The Toyota RAV4 was the added value for our experience navigator and 4G WiFi in the car allowed us to keep in touch with our whole family and to be able to use the internet to its full potential Iceland is great nation We are truly grateful that you have supported us in visiting this country

The Dacia Duster was an excellent car
The Dacia Duster was an excellent car for cruising Iceland Comfortable spacious and safe Being able to switch to four-wheel drive was nice at times The car was delivered to our hostel in Reykjavik by Star Car Rental and returned to the airport by us without any problems
