Outstanding tour manager and smooth

Outstanding tour manager and smooth efficient running of this tour The tour was varied and covered a lot in a week 3 excellent hotels and cities It was fairly fast paced with some longish coach journeys so requires a level of fitness and stamina My only criticism is the size of Riviera tour groups a full coach of 48 people

My Danube River Cruise with Riviera 2023

I had a great holiday last year with Riviera a Cruise on the R Danube It was very well organised the boat was really 5 the cabin very comfortable and with floor to ceiling windows the meals and the included excursions each day both interesting and varied I particularly enjoyed the music provided by a quartet of skilled violinists who came on board for a recital while we were in Vienna on the last night

Rhine Cruise to Switzerland with extension

Just returned from Rhine Cruise to Switzerland with extension on public rail as glacier express had no spaces Was wonderful food and boat all lovely and spotlessly clean Couple of tours were bit short of time which seems to happen After disappointment of Glacier Express was an amazing trip had Peter a riviera rep with us all the way and the organisation was amazing Final two days in Zermatt were like a fairytale with cog rail trip to the Matterhorn which excelled all expectations

Imperial Cities of Morocco

A packed itinerary Decent hotels and a fabulous and knowledgable guide Michelle worked tirelessly and with great humour to make the experience a positive one for everyone The local guide Rahim was also very good We all felt that Michelle did go above and beyond on a difficult week with unseasonably hot weather to make sure that everyone was happy and comfortable with all aspects of the trip

Customer service very helpful

Booking process was very easy until it came to pay deposit That said Riveria rang to discuss the problem and payment was made over the phone The lady was very helpful and apologised for the website issue

Boat staff brill

Boat brill staff and food were too So much so that we booked a similar one for next year Only downside was the Riviera Rep said 10 off if we showed an interest and booked another river cruise within 2 weeks of getting home We did only to be told that it only applied to the more expensive deck levels What a let down Riviera then rang to see how we were getting on with our booking When I said we d booked but we were disappointed as there was no 10 discount She replied very matter of factly Yes that is the policy That was 2 opportunities to offer a smaller discount to keep a customer for even more future holidays wasted

Jason the star of our trip to Sicily

Just returned from a wonderful trip to Sicily The weather was brilliant with hardly a cloud in the sky but the real star of the holiday was Jason our superb tour guide Jason was so instructive about the many sites we visited but it would be quite wrong for us not also to sing the praises of Michele our magnificent coach driver

Spain Basque Country La Rioja and Burgos

Booking documents flight times itinerary all done seemlessly on time Tour was at a lovely pace with plenty of time to explore yourself Our guide Julie was fantastic calm knowlegable spoke Spainish considering it was a group of 50 she gave everyone time knew there names All hotels used were of a very good standard A very pleasent tour maybe not as exciting as some no WOW moments but a very enjoyable week

The booking process went well

The booking process went well The only problem encountered was that similar to what I have found elsewhere when you get towards the end of the booking process there is a box to tick to confirm whether you have read the terms and conditions When you click on the link to read those terms and conditions it wipes out all that you have completed before that so you have to start completing the booking again from the beginning I just find that irritating
