Revising my review of this company after going through a dispute with my agency and landlord to do repairs that I have been requesting since I moved in last year I pay for the services of SmartGarant and now they are not answering any emails I have sent them I will be switching to a different guarantor service because this level of customer service in unacceptable and nonexistent Would not recommend this company ETA The response provided by the company is a lie I sent them 2 emails on Monday morning during their business hours At the time of writing this addition it has been 2 days with NO response from this company I get a faster response from French government agencies than I do this company Update The advice I was given was from an actual lawyer not a company that has no legal backing I have sent written letters to this company to cancel my account and yet they still attempt to charge my card This company has no scruples and they are beyond shady Would not recommend Would give zero stars if I could

Not at all a good customer experience Exactly how things are done in a french way 1 Nothing is made for non-french users Nothing It doesn t take that much time money to have a good translation of your website into english With the auto-translate function on chrome etc you cannot understand the very french lingo 2 Dependability No dependability I was told online that if I m a student I will get SmartGarant s services without needing a physical guarantor first Then I was denied when I tried asking for a guarantee 2 days later I received an email saying Oh In fact since you are student you can get the guarantee It is ridiculous that this situation is not a part of your automatic standard procedure I had no idea that I had to wait for a person s email etc No dependability 3 Timelines not honoured I was told that I would receive my quote for first payment after asking for the guarantee after the validation in 2 hours It took 4 business days 4 4 On my application for getting the guarantee after receiving my certificate the rent to be guaranteed was changed by SmartGarant and my agency This was done WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW THAT THIS CHANGE WAS MADE BY SMARTGARANT AND MY AGENCY I thought that I had made a user error while inputting the values for the guarantee and made me lose 2 business days in trying to understand that this wasn t user error and was infact a change made by your team Unacceptable to have an experience like this with a premier online guarantor in this country
