TrustedCare is advertising care homes that have been inspected in may cases several times and have been judged as inadaquate or requiring improvement particulalry in the area of residents safety While the CQC ratings are shown I find it hard to understand why any company would then choose to promote such places When looking for a care or nursing home don t rely on companies like this The CQC reports tell you far more than any reviews PLEASE read the reports in full before submitting to loved one to any home

Ann was friendly and provided suggestions but she was not transparent about the fact TrustedCare was linked to the care home we eventually decided to go for I only discovered this by calling the home and getting Ann on the other line

This company provided details of care homes that had bed vancancies for me to consider for my Father Some I was already aware of and others were either not in the right location or had no beds free Didn t realise during the initial conversation that I had signed up for an actual service per se so was suprised at getting calls asking about progress To be fair I done all the leg work by myself

Good detailed history taking on initial contact call email response same day with search results and two subsequent follow-up calls received to check on progress Sadly care homes generated not suitable Geographical search way too wide so two homes were immediately ruled out based on location One home I d already contacted had an admission restriction of 65 husband 62yr and all had a minimum respite period ranging from 10 days to 4 weeks - I wanted 6 days Overall though efficient service great it is free and definitely would be helpful for those finding the search for suitable care facilities quite daunting

Matthew responded quickly to my initial request by providing contact information to two care homes which had vacancies He kept in contact and followed up after my exploratory visits Although in the end neither home was selected his information was useful
