Uncaring customer services

Having booked a cruise from uk 6 hours drive away the next thing you book is a hotel In advance as all planning done Paid more than advertised price near to christmas Overnight we hear our cruise is cancelled for us as we are travelling with a wheelchair and p o don t have enough evacuation chairs or staff should an emergency arise Rebooked cruise with princess for a later date Explained situation to hotel customer services asked to transfer booking Told no due to pre paying for room and breakfast More expensive thenthan current rate We didn t ask for a refund just compassion Luckily as the cruise had been paid in full but cancelled within 24 hours we got our money back from p o BUT NOT VILLAGE HOTEL EASTLEIGH ALL WECWANTED WAS TO CHANGE DATE To make things worse after not staying and wanting to give ut to some homeless person they informed me they would need a card registered for the person staying even though everything was paid in full Today they have sent me an invoice for our stay OR NOT Customer service is non existent Will never stay here there are plenty of hotels near Southampton

Village hotel Maidstone

Room I had over the weekend was the worst i have been in a hotel Dirty shower curtains dirt on walls rusty shower curtain railings limescale in toilet lukewarm water chair stained in the room and uncomfortable beds Not worth the money To make matters worse worse went into a different room at the same hotel what a contrast The room I was in needs refurbishment and modernisation

Atrocious Christmas Party at the

Atrocious Christmas Party at the Maidstone hotel Pre-paid for 3 bottles of Whispering Angel on the table was some cheap South African Rose when we complained to manager said she could not do anything about it and called another Manager over Total overreaction Then told to call back on Monday to ask for a refund as theycouldnt deal with it on the same evening When we arrived the queue for drinks was long and people where bypassing the queue and getting served it took 30-40 mins to get a drink my Guiness was thrown away before I could get it in my hands too had to wait while the staff served someone else first The room was probably big enough for 100 people max and there was around 200 people Crammed into the place The only thing worthy of one star was that the food was hot despite being meagre portions Never will I go to that place again

Grim to be honest

Long drive today to Coventry 180 00 per night not cheapest first kitchen not taking orders than most of the menu out of stock not the staffs fault but you expect a varied menu for 180 per night bar Girls answer not my fault hard to predict what sells hope same person is not ordering toilet roll

Very poor

Very poor dirty rooms smokey stale smell no air conditioning or ventilation so rooms are damp and humid after showering etc Run down in general terribly noisy and doors that don t close and bang and wake everyone up Questionable fire door safety as huge gaps around door

VILLAGE HOTEL SWANSEA LANGDON ROAD SA1

We were booked at the village hotel Swansea for our Christmas party when we got there the venue room was to small the meal was basic and cold Our food order was the same Our ward manager had put a 300 tab behind the bar and we were given a fab to allow us to purchase drinks on the tab When our manager went to pay for the tab at the end of the night the bar man stated that the tab bill was 480 despite only requesting a 300 tab when we challenged the bar manager and team they clearly stated that it was their error and a mistake however demanded that we pay for the 480 When we stated that we wouldn t pay the full amount as it was not our fault they agreed and let us only pay for the 300 While we were outside waiting for a taxi the bar manager came out and said that we had the pay the remaining 180 or else she would have to call the police despite this Not being our fault No respect no apology and demanded that we pay the money Therefore we had no option but to pay The night was a shambles s the food was awful no taste the tribute act was Michael bubble which didn t sound like him and the dance floor was very small with limited space My suggestion is never book a party there at the village hotel Swansea as they will either mess up your tab account or serve you food that is cold and tasteless not worth the 40 The bar manager said that I would be able to ask for the 180 to be refunded once customer service would re open the following Monday as this error was their fault not ours When I went to speak to the manager at the village she stated that because we consumed the alcohol then if we didn t pay the 180 then she would have no option but to call the police despite it being their fault She the Suggested that the staff at the party should pay a small contribution to my self to pay back the 180 that I had to pay that night due to the village hotel staff error Incompetent staff and poor quality customer service We will be speaking to the ombudsman

We was supposed to go to the Walsall

We was supposed to go to the Walsall branch Birmingham but couldn t go due to illness we did notify them of this and asked if we could rearrange for another night but they would not bend over at all it was our 25th anniversary as well I was so upset but this hotel would rather 2 people ill spreading germs all over hotel rather than let us change date luckily we didn t do that had more respect for others but will not use them again very very poor customer service I would avoid

I see clearly WHY this hotel gym group

I see clearly WHY this hotel gym group has such a lousy rating They employ incompetent people with huge ego s that is not a way to run a business that deals with people This is my experience of the hotel in Elstree Watford Christmas Eve this was sent multiple times to head office WHO are way too busy to respond this kind of discrimination is appalling and deserves to be addressed I submitted proof of all stated in the email yet two months later radio silence Hi customer services I will start by wishing you a happy healthy new year Your hotel is a meeting point for me and my friends a few who belong to your health spa too we usually meet for a coffee breakfast or lunch Today 24-12-24 I came to sit in peace and quiet to enjoy meeting my friend we did for virtually 2 hours over coffee and breakfast it was particularly enjoyable for me as the past few months years have been very very difficult I have blood cancer and part of my care is my sweet little dog Who is not an ounce more than 2 kg she has been made my legal support dog by the GP During the two hours my tiny dog who was extremely quiet she was adored by all that passed from adults to tiny children all the while I enjoyed two pleasurable hours in your foyer That is until an extremely rude member of your staff came over telling me that we were not welcome there and we had to leave that moment That is when I presented her with my card and offered her to take it to photo copy and find out on line its validity She proceeded to tell me my dog was not a blind dog that being all you allow into the premises I again reiterated there are MANY disabilities that qualify which is when she got rude and told me I was banned at which point I told her to buzz off and that I was collecting my things and we were leaving anyway I noticed at that point she had gone back to the main desk and was pointing in my direction talking with 3 huge men from your staff I went over on my way out pointing at maria asking her for the contact details of head office to be written down for me at which point I was told to go by maria and one of these men to go and look on the Internet A few enjoyable hours were ruined by this utterly rude lady who behaved like a cocky peacock all of which was not warranted nice or necessary What she did is also contravening law I told her this gently and to go properly check before behaving in a heavy handed rude manner Bonnie my adorable companion was barely noticeable quiet sitting on my lap I have to say if you have incompetent people like maria in management positions running your hotel you have serious problems Yours sincerely

Anti family and anti disabled

Village Hotel Leisure Club North Leeds Avoid the leisure club at all costs There managers tell bare face lies hate children and carry out illegal activity in the club After teaching classes here for children they just decided to stop the classes leaving 40 kids with nowhere to go and insisted parent keep paying fees even though the kids could not attend the facilities They lost stole disposed of brand new equipment belonging to the karate instructors and have refused to pay for them This IS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT AVOID

Absolutely disgusting customer service Hotel booked but unfortunately can not make it due to personal reasons which came up No refund but expected to book another date within 30 days otherwise will lose out on money Customer service shocking Asked if could change to a different hotel but can not do that either One closer to where I live but can not do that either Yet I have given enough time to fill the date I had booked for They don t have no care or passion to help people all they care about is taking people s money and not helping I wouldn t even give this company 1 star Dread to think what the customer service is like at their hotels if management can t give good customer service
