On staying in the village hotel

On staying in the village hotelNorth leeds I had my two children we did not have a tv that worked and after asking a number of Times nothing was resolved a single parent with two children before flying is hard enough but not been able to watch tv the night before and get settled is even harder The team in the grill and bar where brilliant and helped us out with food for my gluten free daughter

Cheadle village hotel

so we got there everything looked good until we realised nothing in the room even worked such as the lamps the bathroom light and even the actual room light didn t work We were given dirty looks by some of the workers and when we tried to go down to the pool which bear in mind i paid 20 extra for pool use we were sent away because we didn t have membership bands I wouldn t be surprised if they wanted you to pay even more for the electricity considering they make you want to pay for practically everything there Such as when we wanted to change the date by a week they wanted to get an extra 100 on top of the initial amount so overall the stay was poor and I don t recommend at all

Stayed in family room in Aberdeen after using village hotels all over UK over recent years Was shocked at the cleanliness levels in bathroom with black mould everywhere around shower Asked for it to be cleaned which was attempted but not much was removed Not good when child has severe allergies Would likely never to use again which is shame as they were always good

Village Farnborough - Disappointing Stay

I stayed at The Village Farnborough and had a very disappointing stay Firstly I stayed in a room which had an extremely noisy fan which reception told me switches off at 11pm but remained at the same noise level all night I also ate in the bar the food was absolutely fine however the fruit flies flying around my food and drink were very off putting

Overrated

Overrated paid 260 for 2 nights the family room did not cater for 2 adults and 2 children aged 11 a sofa bed doesn t quite cut it for 2 children aged 11 to share even premier inn offer double with 2 single beds in a family room No air conditioning either We were told we couldn t use the gym even though the confirmation included access to gym and spa Would not recommend

Unhelful

Booking com was unavailable so I called the Bury hotel directly to book 4 rooms Unfortunately the receptionist wasn t able to match the online price and was exceptionally unhelpful Booked elsewhere

I stayed the last two nights

I stayed the last two nights the room was fine no problems but the bathroom was rubbish shower was blocked so no shower on the first day this made the room wet Fixed by the maintenance man we got back that night no towels in the room Up next day and the shower was still blocked Rubbish rubbish Over promised under delivered as usual

Not a member of staff in site when I needed help with a car park fee overpriced poor beers poor food not somewhere I recommend

This chain can t decide if it s a Hotel Nightclub or sports bar Music blasting most nights of the week not good when your actually staying thier for work the next morning restaurant feels like your sitting in a sports bar so loud you have to shout at each other while eating your dinner Food was horrible deep fried everywhere and so expensive

Club room was a waste of money Parking is free at weekends anyway Advertised extras in the room are a joke Coffee machine leaked Money taken twice from our account with no explanation No response from manager
