Surprised by all the poor reviews I ve used them several times without issue One time I was unable to lock the car and end the reservation Phoned them which was picked up instantly and just told them the car details and they locked it and ended my trip for me

I ve been using zipcar for the past 5 years and overall I think they re brilliant They re an excellent way to have a car when you need it Moving house Zipcar Going to IKEA Zipcar Trip to visit the in laws out of town You get the picture Their cars are always clean within reason and fairly new Their fees and rules are very fair and they do tell you of any charges you ll get in advance if you go over time or anything I had an awful experience with a flex car today with one of their automatic cars issue with really sensitive brakes - and customer service were brilliant and helped resolve it They didn t charge anything instead giving me driving credit It made me come on here to give a review as is a great service Looking on here I see some terrible reviews and while I m sure issues occur from time to time I don t think they re a bad company at all

Great cars for fair price

I ve been using zip car on and off for about 4 5 years now Mostly the flex cars but also the vans For the price I think its a great service Nothing unfair or unreasonable my personal advice is if there is any damage take photos and call customer service the flex cars are very nice new too Very fast if you are a crappy driver please don t use this service

The car was clean and free of any visitors ble damage adequate petrol in tank for my journey App worked smoothly Android Cat system was very neat A first for me Also represented good value for money

A good company to use

A good company to use Sometimes the VANS are not well looked after i e wing mirrors not functioning properly or clutch too hard Could do with more van locations in Croydon and Norbury area Very poor services in these areas Otherwise all good
