How am I supposed to review insurance at point of purchase

Ala asked for a review immediately after buying the insurance policy So far all I have done is paid them There is no way to accurately review an insurance policy at this time

It was such a terrible campaign that I had both brakdown and waraanty done They took my car to their contracted garage I ve been looking for 35 days they are not interested they are complete robbers

Nobody seems to to mention about the phone procedure so I will You phone them sometimes goes straight to voicemail to leave your name and number If you do speak to a customer service agent they will try and put you through to an underwriter Rarely get through straight away They phone you back hours later and you go through the same procedure if you want to do it all again I have a Jaguar but only specialists bother looking at them and they will not deal with car warranties Pointless

Very slow with claims

The purchase was very straightforward however when coming to claim they never seem to answer the phone The claims department and customer service have just stopped answering the phone My car is sat in a garage half dismantled whilst we wait for a technician to ring up the car garage to discuss a broken time chain that they have already sent pictures to that was 2 weeks ago Seem very quick to take your money but extremely slow to authorise any claims which is the only yet concerning when I rang up get some sort of timescale I was met with a very pleasant woman who couldn t get me off the phone quick enough with 0 time scale except he will get to it when gets to it hmm very professional

ALA not fit for purpose

Good afternoon Jason have you had a chance to check if my feedback on ALA warrantee not covering my garage work was correct I was hopeful you would be able to prove me wrong about the awful experience I had with ALA when trying to unsuccessfully claim on this warrantee 3 times

Quite ridculous they want a Trust Pilot review 2 minutes after buying policy

I personally think its totally disingenuous that companies who provide insurance ask for reviews as you hav retaken out the policy The only things that you can review is the servcie over time and how they deal wiht claims if they arrise I am now concerned at the Trust Pilot Score as it is not a genuine reflection of ths business and how they operate just how easy it is to take out the Insurance amd Pay Them Money PLEASE DISREGARD THE TRUST PILOT RATINGS AS THEY ARE WORTHLESS

Absolute Joke

The 10 discount is a con my 10 ALATENOFF code equated to 48pence Got a call off ALA because I put a 3 star review on trust pilot the person I spoke to organised a refund for the true discount I should have received but then went on to cancel my policy without me being informed They then went on to setting up a new policy with a reduced benefit so if my car is a total loss I receive 1520 00 less than I originally paid for What a joke I m going to take this to FOS financial ombudsman service for an outcome based on the principles of TCF treating customers fairly within consumer duty I hope my car isn t a total loss I ve no confidence in getting a pay out

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless At first seems good policy seems reasonable and covers everything you might wish After that unfortunately when it comes to you needing to put in a claim for a warranty item although at first the policy states something was covered later when it s actually needed suddenly it isn t covered so don t buy this insurance thinking the policy is true as they won t help you when you need it

So I went through claim procedure and they refused my claim My car developed front differential bearing noise and had to go to my mechanic to investigate and get a quote contacted warranty claim department they told to investigate further and my mechanic had to strip half of the car to see what s is inside of that damaged part They been dragging their time and my vehicle was left in the garage in undriveable condition for 2 weeks as they asked for proof but was not answering my emails They stating that they covers differentials and bearings but decided to class that as wear and tear Avoid this company in any means
