My experience with American finance was

My experience with American finance was just OK My loan officer was responsive to all of my requests With as much advertising that they do I was expecting a much faster process time than 60 days start to finish My loan should have been fast and easy for them to do in 20 days

I ve worked with AF several times

I ve worked with AF several times over the past few years and have had good to excellent experiences This time was a little chaotic My initial contact left mid way through my refi Probably a good thing since he was disorganized Other staff members successfully picked up the slack

I give American financing 4 rating Everything worked out At times a little worried because it took longer then hoped for but the timing was bad as far as covid-19 was concerned Thank you Matthew Thomason for always respond in a timely manner and putting our mind at ease

Vincent Pacheco was great

Vincent Pacheco was great I know you guys are incredibly busy but the time required to close the loan from underwriting to close was exorbitant and I had to reach out to get updates other than those from Vincent The individual assigned to facilitate mid way thru was completely MIA didn t really feel appreciated as a customer to be quite honest For the total cost of the loan something more was expected as a thank you maybe a note IDK

the people were great they made the process easy The only thing that I did not like was that our numbers changed the day before our closing cutting our cash at closing from 7800 to 4500 I would have been better prepared for this had I been made aware that this was a distinct possibility

Lack of trust by underwriter

When we first called we spoke to someone who set up a time to visit with us about our refi That person did not keep the appointment We recontacted the company and was told that person had moved on When Tony Andrea took over things went smoothly My only complaint is the lack of trust from the underwriters such as having to contact our insurance co to prove we owned our cabin property when all they had to do was look at our credit report which showed what we owed on everything else

This definitely was a long and

This definitely was a long and stressful process The experience was not as expected unfortunately but I am now a homeowner is what matters My mortgage consultant was sometimes difficult to get a hold of but once I did it went smoothly Some documents and some information was continuously misconstrued but it got taken care of when brought to attention My realtor was wonderful to work with and will now be a family friend Overall it was a decent experience

We had a good experience all around with American Financing They were always available for questions and helped make our refinance go smoothly All of the people connected with this company were friendly and helpful We feel we got exactly what we were looking for with this company I would recommend them to my friends and family Sincerely Chelsea Theiler

We were very pleased with the professionalism of American Financing team Joseph Podwika and Josh Murphy provided excellent guidance making the transaction and closing strait forward and efficient When final closing needed to be made to eliminate Taxes and Property insurance escrow Joseph took quick action and provided final closure the met our needs Thanks American Financing Would recommend anyone refinancing or acquiring mortgage for Home Purchase to use American FinancingDoug Annie Dahle

The people we worked with were super nice

The people we worked with were super nice If we were more techy I am sure the portal would have helped with the paperwork issues we had I did feel for the amount of the mortgage very small our credit scores high and debt to income ratio very low it would have been quicker and easier
