I Paid extra to have all the extra cover so that i didnt have the excess and yet you are sending me emails saying make sure I have enough available to cover the security deposit I should not need a security deposit

Not too happy

Dislike - With any Sixt bookings via Auto Europe I do not receive their email with the condition details of the car at check in and check out Also you take too long to release the security deposit With direct rentals all is virtually immediate Car received was a lesser class than car booked Like - Sixt staff are great and make the whole process effortless

make sure office open on arrival

make sure you confirm that the hire company office will be open on arrival booked with europcar Turin airport and they had gone home at 5pm I arrived at 5 30 had to go to a competitor and pay extra 40 getting hold of a refund isn t worth the effort spent an hour on it already

ok so in booking no option to add a second driver also inserting driver age didn t work couldn t get the website to recognise Aer Lingus or Emerald to enter flight detail

Always used you and v good but I had to use a different credit card as you do not cover bank sce secure authenticate card transactions so it couldn t be authorised on my MC business card A bit frustrating In response to the reply from Auto Europe I have just received I think there is some confusion as I havent even picked the car up yet My issue was to do with actual payment as could not use normal NW credit card and had to use my own personal one I even rang up to try and deal with it over the phone but still couldnt process The booking went through but I had to use a different card I spoke to my bank and they explained that your site does not handle sca transactions which is why it wouldnt work

Beware of Sale prices

I have used before so know what I m getting promoted 30 off sale but there was no discount Price still ok so I booked but make sure you check around don t always believe the discount Other than that always found these guys to be good

Pre check-in does not work

All good for booking however the system to pre check-in before arrival does not recognise any of the confirmation numbers so can only be done at airport

Booked based on a competitive rental

Booked based on a competitive rental rate This is my first time having used others before so we ll see when I collect my card in 3 months However I was disappointed to get a quote by email and the book now button didn t work and gave me a much higher price I rang and understood that the quote is only good for one hour I didn t spot that so - please make it clearer

Check senior drivers fee

The website provides plenty of information and rental options and is easy to navigate My only negative would be that senior drivers fees are not very clear and are found in the TandC s of the individual rental company so if you do not read them properly you may be faced with a daily charge of 8 euros Can I suggest that when the age box is unticked and the customer needs to enter their age manually then a message pops up telling you to check TandC s of each individual company before you decide on who to use

Everything went well

Everything went well easy site to work through with out any real problems only thing on the Auto Europe s paperwork I have chosen the Gold rate which shows a tank full of fuel but on the Amalo paperwork it seems to still show that I should return the car with a full tank hopefully this will work out OK but
