I ve been using Bench for about 5 years now Nobody is perfect but I would definitely recommend Bench to any small business that wants solid accounting bookkeeping and tax preparation services at a very very reasonable price 5 stars Maybe 4 5 is a better match Things I like portal with all the information I need but with some stupid UI oddities responsive and responsible bookkeeping accounting customer service and commitment to service Integrated into banks and other services so data is easily uploaded An understanding of how to do proper revenue and expense recognition with Amazon which is non-trivial and took some years for Bench to figure out Integrated tax service that saves me gobs of time Low price Did I say low price Things I think could improve Turnover in bookkeepers Happens every year or so and each time makes me nervous that the collective insight into our business will be lost So far it s not been too bad Portal UI which sometimes defies logic

It is such a relief to know that my books are being taken care of In the past I have had poor experiences with people who were book keepers but had no idea what they were doing or did not complete the task in a timely manner I love the quick responses from my team at bench and it is so easy to get documents to them I was hesitant at first because of the price but it really is worth every penny

OK so bookkeeping and financial statements aren t my thing But the Bench team has been very engaged informative and patient in helping me get everything in order Now my books are on autopilot and I don t have to worry I highly recommend Bench Accounting to all small business owners

I came across Bench co from our current payroll system GUSTO and I am so glad we found Bench co We had a hard time finding a bookkeeper for our e-commerce business since e-commerce accounting is an entirely different ball game We tried QuickBooks and individual bookkeepers but nothing was working efficiently Finally when we onboarded onto Bench it was like a breath of fresh air Now our books are in order and exactly how I want them to be set up If you are a small business looking for reliable bookkeeping and expert accounting for e-commerce you came to the perfect place

Our retro-active bookkeeping was very helpful Running around as a small business owner we re often out of our depth when it comes to classification of transactions let alone never having time Ella helped us catch up on 2022 without us having to do much other than providing the required documents We also have less anxiety about filing our taxes now and we ve decided to keep going with our bookkeeping for 2023 Highly recommend

Bench has been working very well for us We connected our corporate bank account and credit card account and afterwards we have only been notified when a transaction needs labeling For most transactions our support people have been able to use the transaction history to mark them Response time is usually within a few hours Highly recommend

I have worked with several Bench reps since I opened my account and so far they have all been very helpful with my requests My particular business handles foreign currencies and multiple bank accounts and they have been able to handle them all They have also made the process easy and quick to identify business transactions which has been super helpful for me as I don t have to invest lots of time and effort in ensuring they do a good work Definitely recommend

This company has made my tax year pretty much completely stress free for the last 2 years Prior to this I experienced handling things on my own with a private bookkeeper and CPA They were both quickly overwhelmed with the abundence of Amazon documents the amazon platform and how all ecommerce platforms link up and share data and spreadsheets with one another Bench has a team that specializes in handling this and this type of activity does not phase them in the least I have had organized P L s delivered to me at the end of each year and all my tax filing is taken care of by them I know that in the rare instance that I get audited I have this team behind my back as proof that I did things properly Absolutely worth the stress free headache
