Finally after 50 days I received my funds It was very stressing I think it isn t a bad company but they affected me a lot It was a terrible experience I m pretty sure I won t use this exchange again I m sorry There had been three withdrawls and Bitstamp payed them all but those delayes and uncertainty are things that I cannot stand again

3 confirmation too long more than 1 hour 30 for bitcoin - in this market you can loose a lot and no margin trade without that you can give 5 stars You don t have withdrawal limitation so that s great Good partnership with private bank and institutions You can trust this 2011 exchange 3 stars because it s all about money and you don t give the possibility to leverage or to use futur products

Hello I made purchases on my private account and everything is fine Yet now Bitstamp is holding my deposits against my will I ve asked twice for the funds to be returned to my bank which I sent the money from yet no response Christian Just received a response from Bitstamp Support they claim that my money will be returned within the next 3 days if so I shall delete this review Christian

I am using Bitstamp because no other respectable site accepts Maestro debit card so whatever you do don t cancel this option it s why I am here 5 fee to get money with my debit card is however a bit expensive Also what is with the exaggerated identification process and having to do various tasks on camera

Am editing this review - in the end got the funds back I deposited But customer support is slow - and took them 5 days to resolve the issue But by that time I had decided I had enough and went ahead and closed my account Its okay but support really is not the best so if you get issues be prepared for long waits and stock answers to questions Did not even get communication when the problem was fixed Anyway account closed - I wont return But others may find them ok Went through stack of compliance - providing ID - telephone call to go through security - and was allowed to withdraw to other BCH addresses Then after 2 transactions my ability to withdraw after purchasing BCH was again blocked So now my funds are locked inside of Bitstamp without any ability to withdraw them out Called again to customer support who simply said she could not help and would pass it forward so it could be looked at - with no timeframe of resolution Very bad service up until now

Website is OK but fees are horrible The website is OK well designed clean not cluttered The app is also good However check the withdrawing costs before operating with them 3 for a SEPA-transfer withdraw which should be free of charge they offer free ACM transfer to the USA Maybe they could offer regular non-immediate SEPA transfers for free Then you have the 15 to 20 euro to transfer out some of the most famous coins Not worth it until they reduce their fees There are better options out there

Contacted the company about setting up issue for depositing XRP and they resolved it in a matter of hours and were very friendly offering to help with anything else Saw they lost client funds a few years ago but feel like they have cleaned up their act

As a newbie in crypto I have to say that Bitstamp has really cool Help section on the website I found so many useful information there and guides how to use the platform I give them 4 stars just because it would be nice to have some video tutorials too

I signed up a week ago and had no problem funding my account unlike Blockchain Today I logged in and couldnt get past the 2 factor authentification code message Even downloaded their app looking for a code Finally found the customer service number Christina answered after only a few minutes She reminded me the code was not on their personal app but Google s Authenticator app or DUO that was downloaded when I registered Found it and was able to log in I would NEVER have remembered downloading this because their initial verification is a lot I don t know if I will have other problems in the future hence the 4 stars but customer service was effective today

There was a small delay of 18 days after I requested a withdrawal but Bitstamp customer service never stopped replying my messages I m giving 4 stars for the delay but their customer service is top notch and I will definitely do business with them again
