I ve used many many rental companies in the past and have had my fair share of issues with cowboy operators I was surprised to see some of the problems others have had on here Admittedly perhaps it s because nothing awkward happened like a crash Both members of staff were efficient and delightful The car was a free upgrade as they didn t have the model I booked It was in good condition and they didn t go searching for miniature dents or scratches on return Also they were the only company offering half-sane pricing in August

Alexis contacted me through whatsapp so could find the spot outside the airport very quickly Long waiting rows for rental pickup inside the airport just a 2 min walk away we could take the car right away Clean and modern full tank great car even doing well in the hils for its size And VERY verY GOOD price even with full insurance coverage No hidden cost no cc needed Will use it again when in Kreta Thank you Alexis and collegue

Rental cars are a dime a dozen Blue s car was clean in good condition but the difference was the quality of service The booking process was clear and easy the pick up and drop off fast and friendly and the service via email every time I had a question or wanted to make a change was quick clear and made the process easy

Zero queues to pick up the car Super friendly staff The car actually developed a problem on day 3 of 8 when we were 2 hours away from Reykjavik The staff were incredibly helpful and arranged for a new vehicle to be delivered to our Airbnb that same day and refunded us an additional costs from our lack of a car for that morning Very easy drop off and more super friendly staff Highly recommended

Rented a Toyota Rav4 auto for 3 days Prebooked all the extra s as wanted a nice simple hire with no sales pitch Car was virtually brand new still smelled new Apparently they change them at 40 000km Fitted with studded winter tyres as standard The whole experience was excellent Nice quick handover at each end Honest check over of the car at start and finish I d recommend the WiFi option It gives a great 4G connection on all your mobile devices and is secure Looked through lots of reviews before booking and these guys looked the best Excellent value many of the normally optional insurances are included as standard and you get the vehicle you booked not something similar

Our holiday in Iceland finished just a couple of weeks ago It was our 4th time in Iceland the 4th time renting a car Thanks to Blue Car Rental it has been our best renting experience Nothing was wrong from the beginning to the end of the rental period We rented a used car in our opinion is the best option in Iceland we booked a used Duster we had a used Qashqai some 132000 kilometers but the car was in perfect shape Fast automated check in and drop off full insurance included and a fair rate Almost perfect Highly recommended Kind RegardsSimone

As good as a car rental company gets - easy booking pick up and drop off You are sent a damage report electronically which is great but still take your own video at the start and end of your rental Staff at both pick up and drop off were friendly and helpful Site is less than a five minute walk from the airport there is a free shuttle The cost of the 4x4 was competitively priced and we had no issues at all during the ten day rental Easy guide in the car for do s and dont s when driving in Iceland One bit of advice go for unlimited mileage as you will do a lot of driving if you re exploring outside of Reykjav k

Booked 2 Dacia Dusters for a winter roadtrip Good communication beforehand via email They came with spike tires and were always reliable We booked used models and with 150 000 km and a lot of small damages they were exaclty that But everything was marked accordingly and we had no problems at all when we returned them Great experience would definitely go with Blue Car Rental and Dacia Dusters again

Our experience with Blue Car Rental has been great The website is very intuitive clear and easy to book A few days before you do the prior check in When you arrive you collect the key from a locker and go directly to get your car without any other paperwork It couldn t be more comfortable and faster When you book you think sometimes cheap ends up being expensive Afterwards you realize that the quality price ratio is unbeatable The vehicle a Dacia Duster was very well maintained and we did not have any problems in the almost 5 000 km we did And many of them on very hard roads and crossing rivers

Lovely car rental from Blue Car Rental Was the best priced option for myself and had online discount codes online I had a newer shape Dacia Duster 4x4 for my car choice and it was in good shape had around 90 000 kilometres for a newer car which I thought was high but still very reliable car Came with studded tyres the website was really easy to navigate and the included insurance is higher than what other companies seem to offer there s also no mileage limit There was a shuttle bus waiting outside the airport that takes you to the area of all the rentals I went to the key pick up point but it didn t work I thought I signed in online before hand but I must of miss read the online check in details so I went to the main reception round the back of the building there was no queue in the place it looked like it was nearly newly refurbished had a nice experience with the representative at the desk quick and straight to the point and offering the extra insurance which I didn t take as only had the car 24hours I dropped the car back into the city centre again not a lot of rentals let you do this from what I saw online so was a nice touch the only things I can comment on was the collection and signing in online thinking you could pick up the key with an advanced check in also the drop off in the city is not easy signed up so you can easily drive past it and end up in the harbour buildings and I could also not get the fuel discount tab to work at the petrol stations so was an extra I didn t use Thank again you helped me create a surprise for someone come true thanks again Will defo use again either way
