If you order as retail customer you have to beg for your vat receipt They keep telling we send it but of course they didn t Their delivery parter Yodel never delivers you the parcel you always have to take it from their depot

The item arrived damaged with a huge dent on the side asked for a replacement and the replacement unit arrived with multiple visible discolouration marks on it The quality control is really disappointing and the quality of the service is also sub-par The customer service person kept sending me labels to print out even though it s 2024 and I have already stated that I don t have a printer at home I wasted more than an hour of my time on this and they did not offer any solution at all

Received an item which came with a fault and never worked so sent it back Asked for a replacement but was ignored and told to fill in a form to get it repaired Asked again for a replacement which was ignored again and ended up with a refund which hopefully goes into my bank and I m still without the item I wanted to purchase Would never use again

Delivery was fast and cheap Totally inadequate packaging lead to damage of product

The product we ordered was out of stock so a refund was issued No alternative was offered or any attempt to let us know when stock would be available Would not have left a bad review but Trust pilot has pestered me for one again

When Baratza Grinder was opened it appeared to have been unboxed and repackaged as box lid stood proud and internal packaging was damaged Unit did work but having no trust that it was new I complained as I had used it once customer service was non existant In effect on your bike

I bought a Lido ET grinder described as chrome plated but when it arrived I found it was just spray painted a naff shade of grey I returned it for a refund but despite misrepresenting the product on their website they wouldn t refund the return postage I m now out of pocket and no grinder I don t think I ll trust them again

I bought a Refurbished Baratza Virtuoso listed at 75 of the price of a band new unit The listing said it would be Fixed cleaned and updated to the newest parts Let s start with how it arrived CoffeeHit chose to use UPS for their standard shipping UPS chose to leave my parcel outside in the pouring rain for 4 hours the outer packaging soaked through onto the grinder box I appreciate this is mostly out of Coffee Hit s control it just added to my whole experience Taking the grinder out of the box it immediately felt dirty it had a fair amount of coffee grounds on most of the surfaces of the grinder and the rubber button on the front has grounds stuck around the outer ring it certainly does not give a good feeling opening the box I probably wouldn t have had such an issue with this if they didn t specifically state it would be cleaned The rubber guide that sits between the burrs and the hopper was clearly old rubber it felt stiff and well used The burrs had also clearly been used I appreciate that the listing description is open to interpretation but that fact that it s Refurbished fixed and updated to the newest parts says to me that the internals have been replaced with new parts This item should have been listed as used I would expect better from a random eBay listing Support were fast to reply polite and have offered that I can pay to return the unit only improvements there would be to offer to pickup the item They ve asked for pictures to see if the product meets their reasonable state for sale standards well clearly either their QA is awful as it would never have left the warehouse if it wasn t fit for sale or they disagree with what makes a reasonable state for sale so I m not too hopeful Overall poor product quick support poor customer care It doesn t feel like they re in it for the long game Just to note I reckon they re probably okay to buy new products from just don t touch any Refurbished items go on eBay UPDATE They agreed to a refund and paid the return postage in the end I doubt I d have had the same success without having posted a negative review

I needed spares for my Baratza coffee grinder Coffee hit seemed to be the only supplier in Europe Great - the little ring of plastic I needed was in stock at less than five pounds BUT delivery of this incredibly light object to my address in France is almost 39 I receive items from the UK all the time often heavy and bulky items and I have never had to pay anything like that amount Amazon manages to deliver pack of books for just a few pounds It was cheaper to have the same item delivered from the USA but delivery could take several weeks and I needed my coffee SO I had the little piece of plastic delivered to my son in Manchester who popped it in the post to France for 2 75 Why couldn t Coffee Hit do that Not good service
