I just wanna say xfinity is a great service Internet is fast enough for what I need and is reasonably priced Phone service is clear and always available The only time it is down is when an update is given or if they are working on our services and we get a dreaded service outage which in the past 3 years I have had xfinity it has only happened twice Which in my book is better than most services I have tried Very reliable Yesterday I had a problem that the cs hotline couldn t resolve on their end so they sent out a tech today I had the tech out here and he was very thorough and looked at everything and had it fixed with in the hour Very professional and I was happy with the service With corona virus hopefully wrapping up Daryn had gloves and a face mask on He observed the 6 foot rule I couldnt have asked for a better cable tech This guy is really good at his job and very professional He identified the problem and also fixed some other weaknesses in my installation and fixed them all I was very pleased to get my Cable box working again What was wrong Well over time like anything else things get old A filter got old and weak so that got swapped out and so did the connector He also saw a few connectors were not insulated and he changed those too Like I said i was taken care of

Could be better I m not impressed

I have been a customer for 2 years it s not like I had a choice as service providers have a monopoly over service in each city and you can only get it from that one provider and it has been decent at best Their routers are terrible for port forwarding but they started offering a service in 2020 that they will send a tech out to fix the problem for FREE if they can t figure it out over the phone My one MAJOR complaint Their routers are AWFUL for port forwarding You can only port forward by using a wireless device that s right no ethernet port forwarding for you You literally have to have a wireless chip for your computer to port forward or it doesn t work I have NEVER experienced so many port forwarding issues with any other provider Also cable TV is obsolete just get Netflix

So I previously reviewed my xfinity experience via customer service phone The phone experience while not great I at least got a billing issue resolved The in person experience was far better with the tech and office visit The tech who came to my house was very knowledgeable and had answers for all of my questions he also explained what he was doing and how to set things up The office visit was great very little wait time knowledgeable sales rep and easy equipment exchange The salesperson had a great attitude and all in all not a bad experience except the phone experience Anyway I will continue to be a loyal Xfinity customer for now lol

This company has upset me by raising my rate after being with them for one full year I think it s ridiculous and bad business For being loyal our bill should at least remain the same But these guys are a blessing compared to Frontier VERY easy to deal with for the most part I feel like they should be recognized for their good customer service overall

The Best Experience of All I ve Had to Deal With From Competitors

As a customer I upgraded my Comcast service earlier this year so that I wouldn t have to deal with another carrier Comcast and Xfinity provide pretty good service with exception to this Flex box that my family and I continue to have to reboot But they are the wisest choice in our residential area Even though they tend to be pricey when special deals are no longer available they provide better service customer service and promotional deals thus more fair rates
