Paid up front for a job that took 2 months to complete

We recently used Drive Vauxhall in Bury to replace a faulty Catalytic converter We were advised we have to pay a deposit for the cat due to its price We were quite happy to do so though the deposit turned out to be the full price over 800 of not only the cat but the labour required to complete the work Not a great start I deliver the car to the garage on the date given only to be told the part had not arrived It took 2 months to arrive Meanwhile Drive Vauxhall had over 800 of our hard earned Delays happen I get that but to pay up front and to have next to no updates as to when the cat can be expected was not good at all As to the work done so far so good

Long delays on MOT

My car was booked in for it s MOT well ahead of time on Wednesday They didn t have the parts and I couldn t have it dropped off on Thursday so we agreed it would be finished by Friday Late on Friday I received a call saying the parts hadn t arrived and so I was then without my car on the weekend I then had to call several times on Monday to get an update on when I would get my car back and eventually it was dropped off in the evening

Check car before taking it home

Bought a second hand car in April and I am sure it was never cleaned and checked as was dirty When going back for them to check the car over there was issues with the car which I wouldn t expect for a 70 reg car with hardly any miles The lady on the reception was very helpful and the sales associate when I bought was also helpful but I feel I was not listened to as when I took the car back after it had been cleaned and checked it was still dirty

Stuff are great but this is a second

Stuff are great but this is a second time I been back in under a year first car had problems not long having it and now within a few weeks of having another car it seems to have problems so far waited over 2weeks for a part to come in and still waiting Problem is you re paying for what Got it on finance and seem to be stuck with a car with problems and a monthly payment

Disappointed

Attentive when I was interested in purchasing a second hand vehicle however as soon as deposit was pad it was more difficult to get call backs Disappointed with after care I emailed to say there was paint on the tailgate inside chalk inside glove box and suggested car may not have been cleaned properly prior to sale I was offered a free valet if passing salesman knew I live 3 5 hours away Also had issue with heated steering wheel and was told it shouldn t heat too much I pointed out that I have had a heated steering wheel previously it got warmer than my car I didn t even receive a reply to this Very dissatisfied

Pre sale and transaction were very good Tracey from Bury St Edmunds seemed helpful and professional Answered any queries I had UNTIL the car was purchased and delivered I asked for delivery they state free delivery up to 50 miles which I qualified for Told me there would be a charge but they would waive it your website said it would be free I ve since emailed with a couple of questions re my purchased car Total silence Very happy with my car but not so happy with after sales

A very rocky start getting there

Bought a car online from LeicesterTurned up to collect it riddled with scratches Sales tried to suggest car was priced accordingly Others later claimed it should never have gone on sale After discussions agreed to fix body and deliver to home Driver just dropped car no checks Car body fixed however boot warning light on and no wash wipe Zero communication to customer and between departments Now got GM involved making progress

I recently had a mixed experience with Drive Motor Retail On one hand the purchase process was smooth with friendly staff like Dean Sharp in Redcar and Tracey from Bury St Edmunds providing excellent pre-sale service However after the sale communication faltered leaving me waiting on promised follow-ups and answers to my queries Additionally I faced challenges with vehicle issues and unsatisfactory customer service especially regarding vehicle maintenance concerns While I appreciated the initial transaction the after-sales support needs improvement Overall it s a mixed bag earning a 3-star rating from me

I purchased my new MG3 Trophy from Drive Leicester

I purchased my new MG3 Trophy from Drive Leicester one of the reasons was I was told they did a collection and delivery when service was due so took out s service contract plan Found out later this was not correct so some what annoyed and did email Richard Only other comment I would have liked some to explain different aspects of the car as it was my first Hybrid When I rang their service department re a query they were unable to answer and didn t know Time will tell if I made the right decision buying from Drive
