Updated in light of receiving customer service after posting Generally great experience in using the Emovis tag in France - beating queues at tolls and not having to climb across passenger side of right-hand drive car to waive credit card generally clear pricing structure and simple billing Just a cautionary note about responding to automated product recall emails and using the chat function on their site to resolve any queries I got an email asking me to order a new tag and return my old one a product recall I chatted with customer support to confirm this was really required as mine was quite new and was told it was and that the usual postal fee would be waived I got a new one but was charged the postal fee I complained but they said it was my error and that despite the email and confirmation my tag was actually from an unaffected batch I returned to sender the unwanted tag in mail without opening it I am out of pocket postal fee refundable deposit and the exchange fees from euro to gbp Update below On the plus side just returned from trip and my old tag worked fine I have subsequently been offered notional postal fee 5 back although not sure exactly how that will work with the currency exchange fees Nonetheless I appreciate the gesture am retaining my subscription and look forward to travelling with Emovis tag again

Absolutely essential for driving in France in my opinion the site works well although the billinglog could be a little easier to follow i think - just ordered my first replacement tag due to a battery warning so will see how that goes thanks

Previous tag expired during Covid inactivity Love the device but wonder why I pay 20 again to join the club Is it refundable - I was not clear on if so or how Too keen to get the marvellous little gizmo and zoom past the queues - unless they ve all got one now

Overall a good service however replacement of tags is a clumsy process and could be more efficient Also disputes re incorrect toll payments is not particularly efficient and could be quicker more streamlined Am only handing my tag in as I now live in France ans there are cheaper providers available here

Very fast service ordered a new tag and it arrived the next day These tags are really useful for the motorways it would be better still if they could be used in Italy too A bit disappointed though that on being told my tag might have a battery problem it was essential to pay a new tag deposit I assume I will get the deposit back on the old one but so much easier if it had been a straight swap

I had a difficult experience trying to close my account because I couldn t work out how to do it easily However having an office in the UK really helped Customer Service got in touch and explained everything I needed to do and how the deposit refund worked and the final bill I used Emovis Tag for several years and it s absolutely brilliant racing through the barriers

Well done for offering to exchange Tag which was one of those where there has been problems with battery reliabilityIt would have been better if you d made it clear that this was free of charge and if you d provided a Freepost address for the return of the old Tag to save me have to pay postage

Very efficient and prompt service One brief telephone conversation answered the couple of queries I had Looking forward to hassle free tolls when we head back into France very shortly

Just had a positive chat with customer services Your adviser gets 5 stars for courtesy and accuracy But your system could only recognise me as a customer by my full three part name You couldn t find me on your database via my post code address mobile number or surname alone You need to rethink how you identify your customers Just saying

Once connected to Customer Services my experience could not have been better Using the chat facility not so good I had problem in France travelling alone in the car from north to south with faulty tag Had no joy with Emma on Chat I m an experienced tag user and not in a new car However CS advised me my grey tag was faulty despite the battery coming up as ok and needed replacing They were most helpful with addressing my subsequent queries Fortunately I am flying home for a few days and can pick up new tag They don t despatch to France
