Recycling fail so far

I have used the tag for travelling in France It got me through motorway tolls with grace and speed No scrambling to the opposite side of the vehicle to get my card in the slot BUT my present tag s battery has run out Emovis will send a new one and take the old one for recycling I still have not found how to recycle the old one the website is flawed in that department

The website is not great I get that I need to return the tag with an expired battery but it fails to recognise that I have already ordered a new tag Your site should join together return tag due to battery AND at the same time supply a new one

Five stars for how useful BUT

I found it very hard to find how to return a tag I received numerous emails saying the battery was nearly finished So I ordered a new one Surely if I already have a tag I should be sent return details for the old one Overall the Emovis tag was the best thing I did - travelling solo on French motorways - it saved the scramble across the van to use my card Welll worth the small amount for the lease

Great product but when my battery

Great product but when my battery expired I paid for next day delivery for a replacement two weeks ago prior to going to France The delivery did not turn up next day or has it some two weeks later and post my trip to France

Customer details not kept secure

Edit to add received a phone call from Emovis today 18 10 23 and they have taken onboard all the concerns and are looking into making the experience better for the client and hopefully for this not to happen again Adjusted my rating to 3 stars to be neutral as such Sadly have found the customer service experience severely lacking and even worse I could hear another operator confirming another customers details inc full name address and bank account details Not really GDPR compliant When I flagged this to the person I was speaking to they just laughed and said she was a loud person Now just hoping someone didn t hear all my details

Tag works well and saves paying out

Tag works well and saves paying out when travelling Customer service however not great We set up a new account as I just couldn t log into my account emailed them and all they said was reset password which still didnt work I sent the old tags for that account back and put a letter inside asking for the refund of the deposit for 2 tags back to my bank and this was ignored I received an email confirming they had received them and the deposit will be in next month s invoice I already asked them to close the account and I am still waiting for a reply now as to why it hasn t been paid back to me especially as we have paid 40 for new tags in my husband name

Mixed feelings

Very efficient company Having a tag is a massive bonus - only reason for three stars is I seem to have been charged the yearly fee on two tags as I recently ordered a new one and returned the old - fee was charged on the old one which my account said had expired while it was in the post on it s way back

Just got my replacement emovis tag

Just got my replacement emovis tag replacement for the old one after the battery has gone past it s life expectancy It took a while to find out how to get the new one on the internet Now it s not clear if I need to send the old one back to reclaim the deposit - no instructions with the new one I think Emovis could be a lot clearer about this

Tag cancelled and not used yet payments being taken

UPDATE - The issue was subsequently resolved after I called the company to discuss the situation I decided not to use the Tag and contacted the company to confirm that I wanted it deactivated I received confirmation that this had happened When travelling in France all Tolls were paid by debit card - The Tag was not used yet payments have been taken from my account I subsequently returned the Tag and have confirmation that it was received Why is money being taken on the direct debit

problems with website

Had real problems with website and could not complete transaction in about 5 attempts 4 pm in afternoon so support team had gone home and live chat not working Finally completed process and tag dispatched following day Will review again when I actually start to use the tag but not the best of starts
