PROS shop yahoo auctions on credit with 48hrs from auctions end to make payment 45 days free storage Easy to use website Care is taken when handling storing and packing items for shipment Clear and concise international shipping options along with the price of each service shown CONS customer service is hit or miss it s either lighting quick and helpful or as I experienced once its absent for a week and took 2 or 3 messages before someone actually replied Payment fees I couldn t work it out and just gave up but sometimes I d have payment fees for credit card and other times I wouldn t There s always a fee when using PayPal Payment fees plan fees domestic shipping GST and international shipping really adds up when you re consolidated package is ready for final payment Should you win a yahoo auction and miss the payment window you re simply banned no questions asked I feel there should be a review process of sorts that s available in order to explain any extenuating circumstances that may have caused the delay Personally I had spent nearly 200 000yen over 8 weeks I know its not high roller numbers but it s not chicken feed either and was hospitalised following a car crash and subsequently missed the 48hr deadline by 24hrs Previous payment history was excellent I d be able to provide a medical certificate etc to explain it wasn t intentional which could then be left to their discretion if the ban could be lifted No leeway or grace period shown when an item reaches 45 days storage its quite disappointing when it s merely 1-3 days away from arriving at the warehouse and you want to consolidate everything into one order Even more so when they advertise the fact that there s delays with items arriving because they re moving storage facilities Little thought given into minimising the size of consolidated packages Literally everything just gets placed how it s arrived to the warehouse into a bigger box when it could be condensed considerably and thus helping the customer with cheaper international shipping I give them 3 5 stars and would highly recommend the business to anyone Personally after being banned I simply went elsewhere In my case it s been a win because I ve found a service that suits my wants and need better That may not be the case for everyone though being that the international shipping cost is a considerable factor for most people the unnecessarily large consolidated packages may or may not be such an important issue Definitely not a bad service by any means There s a few things that are holding them back from being great though imo

Anything involving delivery with this website is 100 fine they deliver completely properly My downsides lie in the purchasing part of the website Setting up a payment method and then changing that payment method is way too obtuse and convoluted for my liking needing an email to the customer support when such support doesn t exist in the obvious spots is a mild concerning There s also the issue of them flagging listings for the sellers not dealing with proxy companies when such is blatantly not true and probably mistimed if they didn t respond I ve had a few listings fall under this category where when buying with a different proxy they go through perfectly fine and get delivered without chance for another shot Just be careful what you re searching for with this website Edit to reply Point 1 - Nice try but not really Was referring to unklinking and then linking up a new payment method Such options are far too convoluted on the website An example In order to change a linked account one cannot do so in advance like other sites can have you change that at any time no you instead have to do it in another transaction presuming you even make another transaction in order to change what s already there There should really be no difference in setting up the verification fee so then you can swap an account or card beforehand rather than needing to change it in another transaction on the spot That s just silly Point 2 - I m sure plenty are aware coming to these websites that there are going to be sellers who are fraudulent or unresponsive although completely disconnected from the context entirely is another thing Making an order around Christmas and then having the person not respond because they were away and then flagging them as uncooperative because they were with their families is a bit much isn t it Plenty of my orders fall under such criteria Especially when those same sellers clearly aren t uncooperative because another proxy handled the purchase just fine That says a lot more about your website s handlings compared to other proxies and the sellers in question that you ve flagged

FromJapan deliver very good services among those proxy services company there is still some downside sometimes but overall is good

They re fine for me for simple orders but nothing more specialized like Mercari Japan or Yahoo Japan Auctions for that I use Sendico or Hoyoyo

Fromjapan can be trustworthy I ordered from them several times However I really hate that they will quote you the full item cost instead of the discounted cost

I ve been using this service for many years and up until now have been very satisfied with the service however there used to be the option to buy separate pieces from mercari jp if the seller allowed but FromJapan stopped this and its been disappointing A lot of anime merch I m interested in on mercari jp is usually all posted on one listing with prices for separate pieces and now I can t order specific pieces unless I request to purchase the entire listing Now there s also the issues with popups on mobile that are making the site harder for me to navigate and I ve been accidentally opening their insta help chat when I don t mean to please fix the popups

FromJapan has become the official proxy service for Rakuma While it undoubtedly does increase their reputation for the consumers however there are no real benefits In the past FromJapan was able to assist consumers with price negotiations with sellers on Rakuma Since they have become the official proxy it is no longer possible which is very unfortunate as I was personally able to snatch some good deals with up to 6 000 yen in price cut from the seller s original asking price I have been a customer from them since 2016 and am currently in their Tonosama rank However I will be looking for other proxies in the future that will be able to meet with my demands

Excellent way to source Japanese items that are unavailable on regular websites eBay etc My score would be higher except they say they combine shipping but the price goes up anyway Usually the postage stays the same or close to the 1st item But it doesn t combined items go up in price like you would be shipping them separately

I don t know why but all of sudden they take hours to order item and not minutes because of this I have missed out on a few items and having to buy the same item over 3 times just to have it refunded is not good And missing out on their promotion because they cancel the order

i love the japan side of the site but the USA one is lacking in comparison there s only one choice for shipping and it s expensive no matter what you re trying to ship avoid onemap from USA unless you have unlimited disposable income
