Absolute incompetence for a very simple transaction
I have come to loathe banking with Nedbank A simple bank deposit has turned into my worst nightmare One minute on Tuesday 4 July 2023 I had R3200 solid cash then I deposited it into a Nedbank ATM One R100 bill is returned machine decides for some weird reason to cancel the transaction Up till now I still don t have a clue wheb I ll have that money back Of all the banks I have dealt with Nedbank has definitely been the WORST Stay away fron Nedbank Save yourself the geartache of incompetence

Time wasters
Nedbank are by far the worst possible bank when it comes to timely service delivery They have absolutely no form of time of time management I entered the bank as the 7th client in que as per their large display showing current que status I have been sitting in the bank for well over a hour waiting to be assisted to get a stamp to verify account non-account It is literally a 2 minute process where they check your ID number against their system to se if you have or if you dont have a account with them Also still waiting the time writing this review Then theres also the fact that that they bring clients in from outside to be assisted most definitely not old pensioners regardless of the people already in que waiting patiently Wonder how they can claim to be able to manage money if they cant even manage their time wisely Just absolutely pathetic

Someone at Nedbank may have tried to conn money from me
I had signed up in my bank account to make a routine payment There were still a few steps to be completed before giving the payment OK on my cellphone app when the app message came through asking for my approval by supplying my secret code Fortunately I became suspicious and did not enter the code The seconds timed out and thus the payment was not made At that time my payment called for my approval and this was given I have a suspicion - and hopefully I am wrong - that someone at Nedbank had tried to slip in an illegitimate transaction which would have emptied my bank account Is this possible Regards George Craven 082 578 5503

Sies I m disgusted by the way Nedbank runs the telephonic services I had to wait for over 40 minutes being transferred from one consultant to another when I finally get the right person Shelly from risk department you are the rudessssssss thing I ve ever encountered ever I doubt you human Your service sucks

Credit card and Ovedraft changes chaotic
Credit card issues not worth pursuing with Nedbank Latest issue with Overdraft Possible 2 to 21 days if apply online from App for a call back to change your limit Online says 3 business days Pulling my hair out Might just close Overdraft completely if not sorted by month end

No completed Bond restructure-term reducing
Besides issues with Credit Card increasing Overdraft Now can t seem to get the expertise to have my Bond term reduced after extra payments monthly Seems the training in Nedbank in general is not up to standard Still waiting Premium approved but no further action

A wow for being useless
Here we go again another soul sucking money grubbing entity making a sh tload of money out of its clients but not equipped to provide any form of satisfaction whatsoever except the convenience to draw money Get you ducks in a row Nedbank Update your system and get it in working order After all I am paying for your services And stop assuming that I m wrong or lying when I say the new ready-to-use replacement debit card does not allow me any transactions I m going on vacation tomorrow and now I have to waste petrol on driving to a branch during work hours to sort out your mistake

Consistently bad customer service
Consistently bad customer service Every single visit to a branch turns into a prolonged periods of unorganised sitting in line to get served Tellers spending up to 15 minutes to perform the most basic tasks such as issuing replacement cards which only needs to be taken out of a drawer Completely ridiculous The exact same task took less than n minute to do at Standard Bank
