Extremely happy with Ollie from OVH went out of his way to help when we were struggling to install an OS from an ISO on our Dedicated server Servers are set up quickly and are very fast This is now our 3rd with the company and apart from an SDD hiccup that was replaced in an hour we ve been very happy

I ve been an OVH customer for about 5 years now and never had any issues I ve only used their VPS products but have had about 8 in total for various projects Every year or so they change their packages so I tend to buy a VPS for 12 months then swap to the upgraded package the following year they upgrade the storage or RAM in the packages regularly the 2020 VPS packages are incredibly competitively priced and in the age of docker moving everything from one server to another is easy so upgrading is trivial 160gb SSD storage 4 cores and 8gb RAM for less than 20 a month is impressive as is the Elite package 8 cores for 25 a month I will note that I know what I m doing and I m happy left to my own devices to set up and configure the VPS with the software and services I need If you need more hand holding they offer additional support levels and other products but I ve not needed this so can t comment on what those services are like I m running several websites and a couple of game servers and syncthing to act as a lightweight personal cloud I ve never had any noticeable downtime I don t have 24 7 monitoring but never not been able to connect and never had any emails from users saying they can t access my site I m writing this review now because I had to contact support I created a ticket for a completely non-urgent issue and got a reply with a solution exactly 20 minutes later My only complaint is that they don t allow you to have multiple IPv6 addresses on a machine because they give a 128 single IP rather than a 64 block which is actually advised against in the RFC but there is nothing stopping you manually assigning more IPv6 to the machine Though this could cause problems if customers manually assign IPs that were given to other customers luckily the scale of IPv6 makes collisions unlikely It would be a lot better to have proper support for this and OVH give us a 64 or 96 or even 127 if it s possible block

I have been with OVH for over a year now Their service is just fantastic every time I had an issue their customer support has been super helpful As a software engineer I wouldn t use any other hosting provider rather than OVH
