Pure quality scammed company I ll never recommend this company to anyone Customer service is crap They seem not knowing what they do Kept transferring me to all kinds of departments regards to a refund Daniel O who another silly person asking unnecessary questions and cut the phone of me Stood on phone for over 1 hour all they came out is we can t help you We will send you step by step to install your vps But nothing seems done Shit company

After you order services they block them for existing reasons and make you redo the order and send your money in 30 days but forget about this aspect

I rented two dedicated servers from OVH based on their advertised support for Windows Server 2025 Datacenter clearly shown on product pages including for UK customers via ovh co uk This feature does not exist OVH support confirmed in writing that Windows Server 2025 is not compatible My refund request was denied even though the product does not match the contract OVH continues to advertise this across all regions knowingly misleading customers This constitutes Breach of contractFalse and misleading advertisingViolation of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods services must match descriptionViolation of 5 of the German UWG Unfair Competition Law Violation of EU Directive 2005 29 EC unfair commercial practiceAnd potentially fraud under 263 German Criminal Code StGB I have documented The product pages Archive snapshots Support confirmations Tickets proving OVH refused to solve the issueIf OVH does not reverse these contracts immediately I will Report the case to UK Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority ASA File a fraud complaint in GermanyContinue to escalate via PayPal legal channels and public communicationOVH is no longer acting in error it s a pattern of deliberate systemic deception Update Fall wurde gel stNach l ngerer Auseinandersetzung wurde mein Fall durch OVHcloud mittlerweile vollst ndig gel st Die R ckerstattung wurde durchgef hrt die betroffenen Server wurden entfernt und der Fall ist damit aus meiner Sicht abgeschlossen Allerdings m chte ich auch transparent festhalten Ohne den ffentlichen Druck auf sozialen Netzwerken umfangreiche Dokumentation und die Weiterleitung an die Claim-Abteilung h tte der normale Support das Ticket vermutlich weiterhin ignoriert oder geschlossen Die urspr nglich beworbenen Eigenschaften der Server waren tats chlich nicht wie beschrieben verf gbar das wurde mir sp ter auch schriftlich best tigt Dass es erst dieser Eskalation bedurfte bleibt schade aber ich anerkenne dass OVHcloud letztlich reagiert und die R ckabwicklung erm glicht hat Ich hoffe das Unternehmen nimmt diese F lle k nftig ernster im Sinne der Kundenzufriedenheit und Rechtskonformit t Update Case resolvedAfter an extended dispute my case with OVHcloud has now been fully resolved The refund was processed the affected servers have been removed from my account and from my perspective the matter is now closed That said I want to be transparent It sadly required public pressure daily documentation and escalation to the Claim Department to reach this outcome The servers I ordered were not compatible with the features advertised as OVH later confirmed in writing It s unfortunate that such escalation was necessary but I acknowledge that OVHcloud ultimately acted and allowed a fair resolution I hope they take similar customer issues more seriously in the future in the interest of transparency accountability and legal compliance

I ordered a dedicated server from OVH I raised a ticket to support for issue while installating custom image I was surprised that revert is coming after 4hr to 12 hr and that is also not proper So i cancelled the server but they are denying refund Support service is not good at also Also they have limited time support timings of 12 hrs rest time no response

The service with OVH has been excellent there are many highlights of support staff who always are very helpful including Adam Ollie and Danny They seem to be the only staff I speak to when calling SoYouStart but they put the customer at heart The service in regards to the servers rented are perfect I operate over six servers from OVH SoYouStart and they have worked perfectly One or two minor problems with the invoicing system and the server itself but all resolved with a simple phone call I would definitely recommend OVH SoYouStart to anyone especially for the price they offer servers at Thank you -------------As an update to this review over nearly two years later service standards with OVH does seem to be slipping from what they once were over a year or two ago support is deteriorating from what it once was - the new support levels somewhat demonstrate this service levels once offered are now being charged for unnecessarily competitiveness of offerings are falling in my opinion Service quality is fine in Gravelines Montreal however in my experience absolutely awful in Roubaix primarily older datacenters to the point where I try to avoid this at all costs which is made difficult by the lack of datacenter selection on SoYouStart but is offered on OVH which is appreciated as other datacenters in Limburg are not great either from experiencing using OVH VPS there The reintroduction of setup fees also for non-updated offerings simply doesn t make sense and u-turns on promises such as upgraded bandwidth allocations for SoYouStart does mean competitor offerings are becoming increasingly appealing Many ranges are ageing quickly but upgrade options are limited in terms of servers which are still good value for money Furthermore what once was an entirely UK based team is increasingly being moved internationally which from my experience is further damaging support quality I ve had many occasions with 50 minute wait times then they suddenly cut you off on the phone and when investigated they can find no reason and blame the customer specialist teams like networking and VAC are also slow when what they need to resolve matters most With agents also stating they ll get back to you and never do - simply unacceptable At the time of writing the review before I d definitely recommend OVH but these days I d recommend checking with competitors first before going for OVH as the level of service is not what it once was which is disappointing and other providers are simply providing offerings which are just simply better value for money than OVH currently provide Kind regards Nicholas

On 19th July 2019 I had renewed two UK domains for 4 years based on prices displayed at the checkout On 20 July 2019 I noticed that the domain only renewed for two years and not 4 years as my order I have been trying to resolve the issue with OVH co uk since 20 07 2019 and to date no satisfactory resolution They tell me that due to techincal issue with their website the prices shown should be for two years and not 4 years They also say they do not refund Now they do not respond to my support messages at all I now considering taking this complaint to domain name regulators as no response received from the OVH

We host roughly 40 servers with OVH some dedicated and some VPS They are by far the least reliable hosting provider we use Not a month goes by when we don t have some multi-hour outage of at least a couple of servers The status page is pretty useless and only ever in French Getting a timely reply to a ticket even when we are spending many thousands of euros per month is impossible On the plus side they are very cheap

Been with OVH for a couple of years now and never encountered an issue Recently I had a problem and couldn t log into my VPS and was shocked at how bad support is Provided next to no assistance didn t look into the issue properly advised them it was urgent and it takes ages to reply to tickets Website was down for 3 days Lucky its not a retail website as could have lost a lot of money in that period This is my only experience of the OVH customer support and for that reason I cannot recommend them to anyone I have rated 2 stars as everything was fine until something went wrong

Though I would try a UK based data center rather than my usual German hosting company Price turned out higher due to them not showing VAT until final checkout Cores RAM storage and bandwidth all less generous but UK hosting is usually more expensive Problems really began at renewal I could not renew the VPS Every time I clicked their link a message popped up saying there was a technical problem and that they were aware of it After a couple of days of trying I raised a support ticket An automated response then nothing for over 2 days At this point I had decided to move the services to my usual provider

i saw an offer for a vps for less than 1 i thought like a small proxy or a vpn would be alright so i ve registered and send them all detils but still waiting since ages till my registration gets confirmed worst provider i ve seen backend is a maze too support havent answered my ticket since weeks too i wont suggest them if you really have a problem with your vps you re screwed
