Indian-call-center hell

Trying to talk to someone about a technical issue I m facing during the pre-test check and I end up with Indian-call-center hell - I ll save you the details I can not believe how a company like this can still be in existence other than through bribes and politics Just perfect example of establishment in corporate culture

This is the absolute worst website and customer service experience It s like pulling teeth to get in touch with anyone They don t answer your questions fully You have to continually follow-up because they don t Awful experience

I took an online exam recently

I took an online exam recently the material was hard enough but I was threatened with failure for reading the questions out aloud which I have to several time sometimes just to be clear it s the nature of the subject matter they interrupted me multiple times during the exam exactly when it became time critical It s obvious to me they are not customer or learner oriented I might ask the question has the person administering the test ever completed it themselves

bad HOWEVER

I had a lot of issues getting onto the exam and on my 3rd try i couldn t log in to take the exam because it was after the time it was scheduled for it was really not a great experience HOWEVER- i called their customer service and they were really nice and surprisingly apologetic and helpful I have to reschedule my exam now tho

I had taken 2 online tests with Pearson

I had taken 2 online tests with Pearson and it went well But the 3rd one was horrible I waited for an hour and no proctor showed up I contacted support and by the time they responded it was almost an hour Then the representative mentioned that a case needs to be registered and let me know the case number I didn t receive any email regarding this They ve told me that they ll get back within 7 days I am going to opt for a physical location rather than going via Pearson

unproffesional and unhelpful

My son took the medical entry exam in sheffield staff were walking around talking during his exam and distracting him others Also he thinks he forgot his coat there and when we tried to contact the support number they literally said we had to go and see in person if the coat was there and would not be ringing the centre nor offering me a tel number to call them myself we live 2 hr drive from the centre Shoddy service proffesionalism Why people are forced to use them is a mystery

terrible experience taking my CompTIA Network exam from home

Honestly I had a terrible experience taking my CompTIA Network exam from home but I did take my COMPTIA A exam without an issue a few months ago This time around the proctor was not communicating via voice chat only text chat which made it it difficult The other problem was that a physical white board was not allowed only a digital white board other online proctors have allowed this just have to make sure it s clear before and after the exam It s impossible to do Subnetting Math formulas without something to write with Long story short I had my physical whiteboard ready to go and right before the exam started I asked if it was okay to use and they told me no So I had to get up and clear my desk then show my desk with the webcam The whole process took a few minutes when I sat back down my screen had an exceeded timeout message I clicked ok refresh and my exam started without notice right after I wasn t sure at first if it was a practice question or what About a min passed when I realized it was the actual exam I clicked the chat for help and they took a bit to respond At the point I knew I would not pass with time wasted and no physical whiteboard I didn t answer any questions and I told the proctor to cancel it I would prefer to take it in person where they allow a physical whiteboard Update I heard back from Pearson VUE support They provided me a refund voucher so that I can take it in person Updating the star from 1 to 3

Worst experience ever for taking an exam remotely

after speaking with Pearson they let the test get released after pleading my case and asking them to review the video changing from 1 to 3 stars i recommend taking the test in person decided to take an online proctored exam with pearson for the convenience This was the second time and it did not go well I was looking at the questions on my laptop screen and the proctor kept claiming i wasnt looking at my screen I was so confused and angry Within 5 minutes Alejandro threatened to fail my exam I was so angry and asked him to leave me alone i am looking at the screen and not cheating He would not stop popping the chat window screen up I told him i was going to report his behavior and asked for the test id number to identify him He decided he didnt like that and flagged my exam I guess they didnt even watch the video because I was watching the screen the entire time I will never do an online exam again They are terrible and dont care about you I really think they arent even paying attention if they were they would see im intensely concentrating on each and every question on an extremely hard test

Feels very invasive

The online exam experience feel invasive you have to film your room they don t allow anyone in the same room as you etc While I understand the reason behind it avoid cheating I don t like it
