FALSE FAILURES

Did two theory tests and failed twice how can you study for more then two weeks do the mock test and pass went to the test centre got the same questions of the mocktests and failed HOW Did the cscs test today studied again for more then two weeks and fail that test also HOWWWWW I REALLY DON T TRUST PEARSON ANYMORE

Its ok i guess

Its ok I had troubles at finishing exam the first time due to complications with the program They have refunded me and i re take the test The worst thing is that the first exam is send to administration of business even though i was not present on exam due to technical issues I give it 3 stars

Easy location BUT

Easy location BUT please brush up on your bedside manner The people coming through the door are CUSTOMERS not something you have trod in Check behind your ears Really A little respect goes a long way

Doing exams on Pearson VUE since 2012

I ve used Pearson VUE for a number of exams since 2012 - namely the CompTIA A and Network exams The website is a bit awkward and not the most user friendly

Horrible structure and Customer service

UPDATE The company gave me a refund after repeating to me how their policy doesn t allow them to let people test without a current ID I still think it s rather lame It s 2023 and some companies don t have the ability to check ID numbers amazing The company has a horrible structure and even worse customer service I ve never heard of someone telling you that if you re within 18mins of your appointment that you have to reschedule if I m late getting off of work and I still have18mins before my test then at least have the decency to let me take the test that I paid for Makes it even worse that I have to fish around your website trying to contact customer support just to fill out a form and then be given the contact information Why not just list the damn contact information to begin with It takes 3-5mins to get the contact information and almost 15mins to get someone on the phone afterwards just for them to tell you that there is nothing they can do Horrible 06 09 2023 Update After rescheduling the test and arriving way ahead of time I was once again told that I couldn t take the test this time cause Pearson refuses to take an official DMV document and instead wants to argue that my License is expired even after being told it wasn t and shown that it isn t If the DMV and everyone else views an interim license as an official stand in until the physical is in hand then who the hell is Pearson to say that it s not acceptable and force people to purchase their test again This company is robbing people who are simply trying to take their test It s absurd

My Experience with Pearson VUE A Balanced Review

Greetings While many have expressed concerns about Pearson VUE I d like to offer a more balanced viewpoint based on my recent experience Setup Essentials Ensure you have a microphone cam and speakers in addition to your PC monitor and mobile phone Software Interference During my setup I was notified about open applications that could disrupt the process namely Skype and Workspace My solution was to manually close these through the Task Manager allowing me to proceed without hitches Don t forget to close Task Manager as well Microphone Glitches Despite setting up my microphone accurately the Pearson team couldn t hear me Multiple restarts of the app didn t help Eventually switching the microphone to default in Windows settings solved the issue albeit after a 90-minute delay Queueing System Initial waits in the queue were around 10 minutes Unfortunately I faced recurring connection errors which not only sent me back to the queue start but also extended wait times up to 50 minutes After sorting the microphone issue the test commenced without further delays About the PCAP Exam I secured an 88 100 finding the actual test a tad easier than anticipated Interestingly I didn t fare as well in the practice test scoring 68 100 My recommendation Don t skip the practice In conclusion while I did face technical hiccups I view my experience with Pearson VUE positively Don t let overwhelmingly negative reviews deter you but remain prepared for potential tech-related challenges

It worked well for me

It was fine for me I had to wait about 5 mins for a proctor to join but she did not speak and it was all via text chat nothing too much to discuss anyway One time she told me off for speaking the question whilst I read it a few times but it was no big drama and I was careful to make sure I did not make the same mistake The system itself could be improved in parts - the whiteboard is not great but overall its a way better option than waiting for test centres to re-open It is a somewhat different kind of stress to keep silent and keep your face always in the camera but it was worth dealing with to make progress and not to wait for a physical exam centre In my 4 hour exam I had a 10 min break so that made things workable I would say if you want to take an exam now and need to use this system then dont hesitate but make sure to read all the instructions

I needed some info updated on my account it took a few emails but was sorted out eventually I have sat around 6 exams using PV and have never experienced any problems with the exams cisco or test centres

This is a truthful review and not being sarcastic whatsoever Today December 18 2020 I took my NREMT EMT-B exam I have read reviews about the online proctoring saying how terrible it was and had a friend tell me the same but my experience today was actually quite different meaning that it was a decent one Would I have rather taken the exam at the physical location Yes but to me this was a good alternative If you are skeptical about taking an online proctored exam through Pearson OnVue just be aware that your experience may be different from others at least it was for me
