I bought a puppy that the breeder had

I bought a puppy that the breeder had puppy implanted with this device What I dont get is why there had to be a purchase for the new owner for a service I may never need And the continuance of pressuring to purchase more I ve had dogs cats horses birds and other animals They are like kids you need to jeep watch and make sure your yard is secure at all times And have not had any problems with my pets getting out or lost

I gave 3 stars because

I gave 3 stars because there are 2 things that need improvement I was unhappy with having to pay for the chip at the vet and then get home and have to pay again to register my dog I was under the impression that it was a certain cost and it ended up being double There needs to be a way that all fees are made into one The other thing is if my dog is stolen again reason for getting her chipped for proof of ownership there is no way to find her This is only good if she is lost and found by someone decent There needs to be a way to track her Thank you for your wonderful service though No complaints there

I love the idea of having my girl

I love the idea of having my girl chipped so if she s ever lost I have the best chance to get her back My kinda issue with the registration is that it doesn t tell you that you re done that you ve completed the registration It was confusing to me and I hope that I competed it all And my girl is safe Thank you

Haven t used the Service

I gave 3 stars because I just registered my pet s ID chip I purchased my new pup last March 2020 received her in June just registered her Microchip in March 2021 I gave 3 stars because I had a hard time trying to figure out how to register the chip with the information I had received from the breeder Since my dog is only outside with me or on a leash when walking I have not had to use the service So so far so good

Adopted from a shelter which had already registered dog paid lifetime fee I was encouraged to pay the lifetime fee again just to transfer into my info I Only paid the year fee Wonder if they do this with all rescued dogs owners Wonder if I will get hit up again next year for renewal Considering she is 11 her lifetime is short for a big dog

We were told it was free to register

We were told it was free to register your pet It is not free and for any of if it to be valid or do any good at all you must pay the lifetime fee Would not have done it if we weren t misled

I have 2 other dogs that were

I have 2 other dogs that were microchipped and it did not cost anything to register them I was shocked that there was a charge to do this as the whole point of microchipping is being able to find the owner

Very expensive does offer some security

I think the device was TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE for what it is and on top of that the implant procedure is so easy shouldnt be So expensive either It will only help out if an HONEST PERSON finds your lost pet Does nothing if a theif takes it Im glad he has the chip and do feel a little more secure that he has it with ability to be Identified if he s lost The cost prohibed me using this service in the past Hoped it would come down over the yrs

It s Okay I prefer to use Petlink

It s Okay I prefer to use Petlink all My other dogs have that Microchip but because I got my ESA dog Nella from the shelter she got this one I guess as long as my dog is found if she gets lost then that s perfect

Everything was pretty easy but sucks to pay the fee

Everything was pretty easy just was annoying that I had to pay for it when I purchased my dog and then had to pay another fee on here to register her This has been the only microchip I have ever gotten where you had to pay a fee after
