The company misprinted my dog tag when I called to have them fix THEIR mistake they insisted on charging me shipping I told them that I would not pay shipping as I had already paid for the tag and the shipping manager supervisor would not budge As an older individual I had a very hard time understanding BOTH people I spoke to when I called to let them know of mistake Not happy

When I contacted pet key to change my address I was for the first time offered an ID tag I was told the tag itself had a picture of my pet on it I also would receive an ID card I got the card but no tag When I called them I was told the tag would come later When it did come I was disappointed it didn t have a photo on it It was expensive and I feel misled

The woman was extremely rude and I have a paper application to say what I get when I enrolled Oreo She said you get nothing and hung up The next day I was offered lifetime for 50 00 I was very seriously going to do that but I was afraid of getting that rude and nasty woman again

I think the website is intentionally confusing to motivate people to purchase additional services My intent was only to register my dogs microchip It was not directly clear to me how to do that I am not interested in the additional services In regard to the additional services I do not want to be contacted every time a dog within 25 miles of my area is lost So I would likely opt out of the notifications How many other people are also opting out of the notifications How effective would this really be

My friend lost a kitten then joined PetKey to be notified when she had been identified at local shelters it s been two months and I ve given up hope on that As a service I assume this good should you chip your pet and keep a digital profile to reference for the life of your pet Is this recommend for everyone No But if you re dedicated to your pet or have invested a lot of money then this might be a good next step for you

Not for runaway pets

It did not work for me When my cat was at home it wld warn me and when he DID get out twice I was not able to find him The distance kept changing just by turning around The size is great and the app was easy to use It s also awesome that there is no monthly fee But the point is the device Could not locate my cat and he wasn t far because when I came back inside the house I found him in my backyard

I haven t received any packet or any other paper work from you Not sure what you mean about service I haven t seen any service yet I think you were way over priced but since I already had the chip implanted I had no other choice the vet didn t explain that it would be an additional 45 00 to register So that is why the low rating I m hopeing your service in finding lost dogs is better than your paper work
