Ramp will not refund you after a

Ramp will not refund you after a breakdown if the Garage could not identify the problem I had a engine symbol light come on but the diagnostic machine could not identify the problem The warning light went off after they cleared fault codes Another time they kept the car for three days because ramp did not pay for the annual service charge I suppose it is a good service if every thing goes well according to plan which I may not have understood

good but the delay shocking

The initial call was good and very helpful A booking was made and I waited for the email - which came through as promised within the hour however the earliest appointment was 2 months away which I felt was not acceptable So I phoned back and I asked for the car to go to the garage that has been used and dealt with before The garage couldn t be found and the assistant became obnoxious and unhelpful when I explained that my wife s car had been done there 2 weeks ago under the cinch care system

No problem with RAMP who

No problem with RAMP who once contacted sorted things out very quickly The problem was with the dealership I brought the car from Ford in Ashford - they first stated there was nothing they could do and I d have to come and get the car and tow it myself to a specialist as they didn t have the expertise They then said they couldn t help with that despite being a garage they have no towing facilities It was only once I pointed out I had a RAMP plan that they could suddenly miraculously deal with it Hence the low score for the overall experience

Thank Goodness for Abbie

I was really struggling to get a decision from Ramp about my car no one would commit to an answer and said they would call back when they didn t Then when I was at the end of my tether at 4pm having first raised the problem at 8am I got through to Abigail Ancell She was excellent and decisive and took care of everything

After having to chase repairs for my

After having to chase repairs for my newly purchased car with cinch issues with the car that were undiagnosed at point of purchase I received excellent customer service from Scott Mobb who has been helping to liaise with cinch to get the repairs done so I can finally get the car back that I purchased

Got there in the end

EDIT After submitting a complaint I did get a prompt phone call from a manager informing me that the claim was now approved and I could either wait for the garage to be paid or pay for the repairs and claim it back I paid for the repairs as I needed my car ASAP and submitted the receipt to RAMP the reimbursement was received within 36 hours Much better service when you do get to speak to a manager but it shouldn t have to come to that Thank you to Beckie for getting us there in the end Original experience for reference Warranty claim was rejected despite being listed as an inclusion clearly Garage called them twice for authorisation PRIOR to repairs and sent them all the pictures and quote twice for approval and told them he had to put the car back together on the second call as it was taking up his ramp in pieces as gear box had exploded essentially they did not say he could not do this so the repairs were done as he had no other choice We ve then been chasing them for 3 days and they ve now rejected the claim based on the fact the repairs were already done No managers are available on the phone you have to escalate via email with a 5 day wait for a response I have not had a car for 3 weeks now This company is a joke and should not be in business I have booked an appointment with a solicitor for this week and reported to consumer watchdog DO NOT USE this company the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on let alone 55 a month I ll be cancelling my policy and also suing for mis-selling of a product They also do not call back when they say they will They just hope you ll go away no customer service and will work their way our of paying for claims by any means possible This situation was clearly set up to reject as you can tell by the fact they did not tell the garage that he could not carry out the work Just one big con

After eventually gettilong wait for warrantyrepairs to get doneng a reply to my

After eventually getting a reply to my calls a nice lady named Amie was very helpful and said she would chase up my complaint for a car I bought off cinch at the beginning of April which soon after faults were noticed After many many e mails to cinch and long waits for phone calls to be answered or not The repairs needed to the car may hopefully get done after over 2 months since reporting them and getting fobbed off and passed around to numerous people who said they would priorities it as urgent as the faults are getting worst with the delay in rectifying them So after reporting the faults soon after delivery it s now close to the end of the 90 day warranty and I m hoping all the faults will be repaired before the warranty ends as I ve only used the car locally for fear of brakes failing and other things as I ve not been confident in taking the car further than locally to test it s full potential or discover any other faults on a long run I m relying on Amie from ramp and Sam from cinch who are the latest to say it will at long last get fixed

Was unsure of how the process worked

Was unsure of how the process worked but my advisor talked me through it and was patient with me so that made me feel a bit better so very happy with the service over the phone Just concerned now that I have to pay nearly 140 to identify the issue then wait to see if it will be covered If not I ll have to pay that amount then pay to get it fixed as well And still pay monthly for the warranty That is definitely not worry free motoring
