Great Company

Initially I had a problem trying to call the company - due to my mobile phone wifi calling carrier I think not terribly technical However once I got through they were incredibly helpful One star dropped due to delivery two days later than scheduled but otherwise all good The telescope I wanted was 20 cheaper here than on Amazon etc for exactly the same product

Very Helpful

Very helpful even for the smallest of questions When buying from them the process is simply and they keep you up to date of your purchase s progress My only negative is that if you buy something small like a filter the cost of postage is 20 to the north east of Scotland when the item could have been sent by royal mail large letter for a few pounds But it just means I have to save an order to be more than 100 before sending the order to make it worthwhile They would have gotten five stars if it wasn t for the postage

Initially quick and efficient but left out an integral part of the package dispatched to me Had to wait a few days for it to arrive

Not so Disappointing Customer Service Updated10 06 23

While I did have some issues with my order it shats off to Adam at RVO He s taken the time to reach out to me and listen to my issues He s done everything possible to restore my faith in RVO I now know that RVO do take customer service seriously and will do their best to ensure they have satisfied customers It s good to see how a company responds when there is an issue

Happy I chose this company

Their friendly and informative staff helped me to make the right choice in buying a new go to mount for my refractor Everything was simple and trouble free to order with fast delivery My only criticism is their website which is really outdated since it has not been upgraded to display on smartphones or tablet pc s Overall 10 10

True customer service Happy customer

I wanted to buy myself a good auto tracking telescope so I could use it for astrophotography Now I don t know a great deal about either but after contacting RVO their honest helpful approach pointed me in the right direction I m now the the owner of a great 150mm go to telescope I m so pleased that I chose RVO over the other companies out there

I cannot praise the members of RVO enough

The initial stock check emails were answered almost immediately After only part of the order was delivered I was concerened that the remaining item had been lost in transit a quick call to RVO and was relieved to hear that a second courier had been used Due to the heavy handed nature of couriers the telescope was badly out of collimation after several failed attempts I phoned RVO asking if they could fix it after a quick 2 hour drive my scope was back in working order I cannot praise the members of RVO enough

Great place to buy from

Ordered over the Christmas period and received a helpful call explaining when the delivery would be made and asked if convenient Pre sales support was great I called in to the store before purchasing for advice on what was best for my needs I didn t feel rushed or pressured to buy anything it s been a great experience from start to finish My mount has now arrived and so far seems perfect just need these pesky clouds to disappear so I can properly test it

RVO are stars

RVO - and Adam especially with whom I ve mainly dealt - have been fantastic with me since I began purchasing products from them in 2019 As a newbie back then I needed help RVO helped me all the way Today I need a non-stock item only available from an online-only retailer with whom I ve recently experienced attitudinal friction leaving me feeling less important than the company I m buying from I asked RVO whether they could source it - yes all sorted no need to stress Why on earth did I ever approach that online company Thank God for RVO is all I can say Nick H

Knowledgeable staff

Good communication Helpful advice which was accurate Item packaged well with no damage on arrival I will use Rother Valley Optics as my first choice for astro gear having finally got my first scope after waiting over 40 years It was good talking to the founder at the recent European Astrofest in London
