I have had Vault Insurance for two years without any claims They have just CANCELED NON-RENEWAL of my policy for AGGREGATE MANAGEMENT Obviously this is a company consumers must stay away from

I went with Vault years ago due to the reputation of great service I heard about With our claim I feel I was treated like a second class citizen The adjuster that handle claims in my area should be working for one of the insurance companies that advertise during Jerry Springer The General or the duck He should not be working with your clients that are business owners and understand and live by good customer service From the start our first call to report our clam he did not show up for our appointment When we asked why he stood us up he told me my insurance was cancelled the prior month due to lack of payment After a short heart attack thinking we missed a payment we found out he was incorrect When I told him I had proof that Vault was paid he said Oh maybe I was looking at the wrong account Other then the adjuster I have been happy with Vault

Bad first experience
Vault agents gave me the wrong instructions for a claim which led to a reduction in my coverage I switched to Vault because I was told it was in the same class as AIG and Chubb But my first experience was more like State Farm where claims does everything possible to limit what they cover

We were cancelled for not having a roof
We were cancelled for not having a roof that was to the protocol of requirements for coverage However after having Vault inspect the roof with their own company they found nothing wrong with the roof not once but 2 times So the question is if there s nothing wrong with the roof then why are you cancelling us

Do NOT pay their Surplus Contribution fees--Will drop your 5 policies if they don t want you anymore despite no claims
We have paid into these policies for several years at a premium with the expectation of not paying the additional surplus contribution fee after we had been with them for 5 years Instead of getting to this point they dropped all of our policies without a single claim because they want less coastal exposure The reason for dropping us on the non-coastal property as well as auto and umbrella is not enough policies Really Vault Would not recommend especially if they front-load extra fees with the promise of the additional surplus contribution falling away after being loyal customers and staying with them

Renewal Pricing WAY too much - We Left
Your renewal price increase was insane for 22-23 so we found a different carrier to meet our needs Your renewal increase no claims was over 35 for all lines of insurance We did not feel that was an acceptable situation for us so you lost a customer Your website also needs improvement Very difficult to find payment quotes for new vehicles etc Self-service is more difficult than it should be I don t want to go to my independent agent every time I have a policy billing quote question Doing business with you was extremely difficult Other high-end carriers have an extreme advantage over you in this area

Refused premium payment while policy
Refused premium payment while policy was still active as a mechanism to cancel policy because a claim was filed Claim was ultimately denied then sent falsified paperwork to new insurance company which created undue hardship and costs in finding new coverage Its companies like this that give the insurance providers a terrible reputation

Vault handled our claim in the most unprofessional manner
Vault handled our claim in the most inappropriate manner I have seen from an insurance company in a long time Vaults hired Engineer was completely negligent and fraudulent We had to hire our own independent engineer to put the report together to show all of the hail damage It was very easy for them in their pictures matched the pictures first submitted by our roofer Vaults engineer essentially said there was no damage but there was physical damage all over our roof that anyone could see I would not recommend vault to anyone whatsoever even though they paid our claim once we submitted our engineers report My understanding is that vault is trying to compete with nationwide private client Along with Chubb and other high-end insurers Vault is nowhere near the class of those high insurers

Terrible price increases after securing
Terrible price increases after securing my insurance business from Chubb two years ago This borders on a bait and switch business approach Now after having my business for two years with nearly 90 homeowners rate increases I receive a non renewal notice for my Florida home Terrible experience

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service I would NEVER recommend anyone to use Vault for their insurance I dealt with Theresa Guy and she was inadequate She was extremely difficult to reach Most of the time her voicemail was full The CEO reached out and was very unprofessional
