Just back from a week in Japan with Wendy Wu Great holiday very well organised from start to finish All hotels were excellent we could not fort any Were very lucky we had a great group of people all helping each other English and Australian Our tour Manager Meg was very well organised and attentive and always went the extra mile All our meals were excellent well thought out for us to try different foods Thanks to Wendy Wu our Japanes holiday was everything we hope for we wood use them again Eileen from England

I have just returned from the 26 day Grand Tour of China and it was fantastic Joe our national guide was outstanding He worked tirelessly and with such good humour to ensure every day ran smoothly so we gained the best possible experience of this vast and rapidly evolving country Joe told us so much about China made sure everyone knew what was happening at all times gave us a perfect balance of organised activities and free time to explore independently did everything in his power to assist for example with luggage handling never a problem and when one of our group fell in an airport sustained a small fracture and had to return to Australia I have travelled extensively but this was my first visit to China I loved the variety of sightseeing history and geography learning about farming crafts life in China and so much more We travelled by air boat and coach even rickshaw covering almost 5 000 miles The days were well paced so we never became overtired Care was taken to ensure our safety well-being and satisfaction with every aspect of this trip The hotels were lovely better than I expected I chose a vegetarian diet and was always offered plenty to eat The local guides who joined us in each city were informative helpful and pleasant so they enhanced our experiences still further I went to seven optional evening shows all most enjoyable I would recommend this tour without reservation to anyone who can spare a month and wants to feel they have seen all of the significant parts of China all the contrasting scenery and experienced so much of the country Go now before it changes too much more Wendy Wu kept me very well informed before the trip and everything required was explained and sent in good time The office was very helpful during the complicated visa application process and every query was quickly and efficiently answered I would certainly be happy to consider Wendy Wu tours in other parts of the world Many thanks for everything - it was a joy and a privilege to be part of Joe s Family for a month

Just come back from Wendy wu s a China experience my first holiday as a solo traveller from start to finish flights the fab tour guides grace Gary Mark and fabulous Tony who nothing was ever to much trouble fabulous sights food and great value for money fast pace but fit in so much one thing I would say is no need for clothes for evenings as from early morning to evenings not much free time but suited me would recommend totally have a great time I did

We originally booked a tour with Wendy Wu to China and paid a large deposit to them When Covid broke out in China they very kindly allowed us to switch without cost charge to another tour in India We selected this with a Dubai add on only then to face the same Covid problems again Our first big fear was parting with a substantial balance before we knew whether the holiday would be happening Wendy Wu helped by cutting the date for the payment of the balance to six weeks and additionally reassured us that we would know whether the holiday would be going ahead before the final payment was required This was very reassuring Our holiday was cancelled and very quickly one of the options offered to us was a full cash refund Given all the current uncertainty in the world with Covid we requested the cash refund knowing that Tour Operators have to make the refund within 14 days We fully expected a long wait for this but in fact the cash was received well within the 14 day period We had been reading other mainly negative reviews both on this site and the Australian site All I can say is that our experience of dealing with Wendy Wu was very positive In particular both Ellie and Vivian could not have been more helpful and cheerful at what must be a very stressful time for them and their colleagues Thank you Wendy Wu

Holiday to Japan travelling on 1st November 2020 was cancelled on the 21st September and a full refund of our deposit was in our bank on 29th September Full balance payment was extended by Wendy Wu until 6 weeks before departure Couldn t have asked for or expected a better service

Booked tour to Vietnam in February and it got cancelled due to Coronavirus Rebooked for November 8th this has got cancelled for same reason Wendy Wu on request has refunded all money paid in a week Would certainly consider Wendy Wu again in future

I booked a tailor made private guided tour to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Unfortunately this was cancelled by Wendy Wu due to coronavirus I was given a credit note for my deposit but after 7 months I decided to ask for a refund because I was concerned that the tour would not go ahead in 2021 due to coronavirus and they refunded my deposit in full within 2 weeks I am now looking to book with them again in 2022

We arranged a private tour to India in Jan-Feb 2020 All aspects of our tour were well arranged and we were looked after by Dilip who taught us much about India s culture history and cuisine We would gladly recommend a Wendy Wu private tour and look forward to seeing more of our wonderful planet with Wendy Wu in 2021 and 2022

Just returned from a Hidden treasures of New Zealand with Wendy Wu Tours It was without doubt the best holiday we have had It was a well organised and Lisa our tour guide was informative knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for her We had top quality accommodation and the meals were varied and tasty A wonderful holiday in a fantastic country
