Hidden Treasures of New Zealand Recently had the pleasure of doing this tour My first trip since covid and what an amazing first tour to begin my travels with Toured both the North and South islands Lisa our tour guide was brilliant and always on hand if needed genuinely couldn t do enough for you I had expressed an interest in doing a specific activity Lisa recommended which company was best and went on to reserve it for all who wished to take part Lovely accommodation and excellent food be prepared to eat your way around NZ Coach drivers shared interesting facts and amusing stories If you want to visit NZ and looking for an organised tour with no hassles Wendy Wu is the way to go Definitely recommendStunning scenery fascinating places to visit fun and laughter along the way Thank you Lisa and Wendy Wu

Me and my girlfriend have just came home from the golden triangle taj temples and tigers tour of India and I couldn t be happier with the service we received Wendy wu had sorted everything from the moment we arrived in india until the moment we left Our tour guide Ajay deserves a special mention as he was amazing so knowledge about everything he was telling us All the hotels and restaurants we went too were all to a very good standard This truly was a great experience and I will definitely use Wendy Wu again

Great experience on Uncovered Japan tour Guide was with us from the beginning and spoke excellent english was knowledgeable and kind accommodation was clean and comfortable The tour is definitely busy with lot of sightseeing but that s what we love about wendy wu is there s nothing to be missed Food was nice just when we thought we d had enough Japanese food we would get a nice western meal have travelled twice with wendy wu before and will be doing again

Just returned from the Best of Borneo trip which was fantastic from start to finish Guide was waiting for us at the airport as promised all transport and internal flights were well organised Good food throughout with special care given to guests with specific dietary requirements The itinerary covered cities temples and of course the wildlife The three days spent in the jungle were incredible A special mention for our guide Selvam if you get him as your guide you ve hit the jackpot So knowledgeable so kind and has a genuine desire to make sure every guest has the perfect holiday

Went on Wendy Wu Jewels of Japan tour 27th Mar to 6th April 2023 very disappointing Bad airport pick up sub standard hotels awful food which was often cold Barely any downtime felt rushed no time to relax at all Arrangement for transfer to airport at end of trip was diabolical So stressful The tour wasn t the magical experience I was expecting for my once in a lifetime 70th birthday Total rip off The tour failed to deliver on any level Naturally after such a disappointing trip I complained when I got back but Wendy Wu treated my complaint with contempt Offered me 100 voucher off next holiday basically fobbed me off as if I would ever choose to travel with them again

We went on Wendy Wu tour Japan Uncovered in May 2023 This was meant to be a trip of a lifetime we were very disappointed The guide although very sweet had no understanding of how to manage a large group She rushed us along streets frequently losing us as some of us were held up at crossings The food was very sub-standard obviously cost cutting by Wendy Wu We were never given enough time at sites too many sights were crammed into a day When we arrived at our first hotel we were told that the was no meal for us and that we had to find our own food in a strange country at 9 pm in the evening There is no porterage at Japanese hotels our suitcases were lost for three days due to poor information on where to leave them In all a very disappointing trip Go to Japan but don t go with Wendy Wu

We visited some of the most Beautiful areas in Japan with Wendy Wu tours in May of this Year I have to say we paid a lot for our 50th Wedding Anniversary but was very Disappointed by the quality of the food The Hotels we stayed in we re really different but very nice The Tour itself was very interesting but far too many Shrines One thing I would say is the Guide we had was Amazing his name is Hajmi I m not sure how you spell his name but he was Great Over all Wendy Wu trips are great but Please the Food was Definitely not good

Booked through ROL but holiday was part of Wendy Wu package Went to Singapore as part of holiday and was put in a very substandard hotel We had to move rooms as the first room smelt of damp and mold All the corridors in hotel also smelt The restaurant was like a canteen and i was ill after having breakfast there Have complained to both ROL and Wendy Wu Wendy Wu haven t even acknowledged my complaint Definitely wouldn t book with them again

Having researched for a holiday for our golden wedding this year and on advice of our travel agent we booked in January last year 23 Airport hotels booked prior and after kennels booked holiday money bought etc Only to be told last July due to operational reasons with the Victoria Mekong ship our holiday was cancelled This then involved cancelling all above and a family celebration and rebooking a week earlier Booking two extra nights before holiday so we weren t celebrating our anniversary on a plane Guess what on 15 01 24 told our rebooked date has also now been cancelled As Wendy Wu part own the Victoria Mekong why has this happened Is it due to announcing they would be running seven night cruises not five like ours as part of our trip I believe it is and it is absolutely dishonest of Wendy Wu to do this bump you off to book others on board As I say this was for a special occasion which they have ruined Only giving us back our deposit What about having my money for a year and all the expenses for changing everything Nothing Do not trust this company they do not give a fig about looking after their customers If they can sell your holiday to someone else for more money

If you had a zero star I would have picked it What can I say This was my first Wendy Wu experience I will NEVER use them again I have travelled to many countries using small group travel as my default All have been positive experiences until now Japan a country I had been looking forward to experiencing was sadly compromised as a result Small group as promised No-28 people making it unwieldy with a consequent inability to go to smaller restaurants etc I had specifically asked for a small group tour-below 15 was the expectation I was sold an expensive dud Guide Below abysmal Didn t know her stuff Spoke appalling English Nothing about the culture the people no real detail about wherever we were visiting Was told not to ask questions Really She had to look everything up on her mobile on the bus trip Told in no uncertain terms where to sit in the often awful places we eat at because of my almond allergy Could not sit next to some of the lovely and equally dissatisfied people we met On one of the sections of the tour when we were on a short river cruise she abandoned two members when she couldn t find them We already had a guide on the boat now we had an extra one who knew nothing and took photos for herself They had no one The tour was expensive underwhelming and in no way lived up to expectations
