Changed vehicle online I think any charge for change of vehicle however small should be explained to the customer Too many companies whilst giving lip-service to it do not translate good customer service values through to their online platforms This is so often overlooked and it is up to specialists in the job to make sure those designing applications and websites understand the work properly The Post-Office and Horizon scandal shows what a high-handed approach can lead to

I found Ageas on the U-Switch website after spending a long time searching for affordable motor insurance for older drivers The price was better than the many others I had investigated although I was disappointed to realise that one cannot speak to an adviser unless making a claim However I have now set up my new policy I would like a paper copy of this but I suspect I will not get one

When coming from comparison site to your site I wanted to double check details Made no changes but after checks the quote had increased by 200 Customer services were about as much use as a chocolate teapot Ended up having to redo the whole journey and just pray they had the start date correct

The repairer was excellent The process getting it to the repairer wasn t straight forward I was having to chase it numerous times

Ageas are unable to re-check the CUE

Ageas are unable to re-check the CUE database when it is corrected when there has been a mistake made by the previous insurance company other insurance companies like Swinton do just recheck your proposal again to confirm that your claims are correct

2 Car insurance

I was not happy that you dont insure 2 cars as i bought new car to drive when go somewhere special and other car for day to day use so had to transfer old car to new one which means will drive new one all time which i didnt want to do Also i think you need a phone number so can ring as myself are not good with tech Thankyou How do you find phone number so can speak to someone in person this is my biggest issue Even so i would recommend family and friends to come to Ageas uk

Easy to talk to someone after approx 10 min wait Requote after minor change meant the price was no longer competitive meaning I will need to shop around

Ak was able to cancel the auto renew

I was able to cancel the auto renew option of my home insurance policy online I think a confirmation email would be a fair request

I would have liked a look at my policy to check that the second driver was listed before finishing otherwise it was easy
