Very happy customer

Had the usual apprehension about collecting our car despite having all positive experiences with Avis in Dublin airport previously The staff member who dealt with us was very amicable and helpful and there were no problems with the car at all The handover on our return was pleasant and efficient Very positive experience overall Would recommend

Avis Dublin Airport

Easy and efficient check-in to pick up the vehicle at Dublin Airport after an overnight trans-Atlantic flight The vehicle we rented was new and I was pleased that it came with an automatic transmission yhe drop-off was similarly easy with excellent signage and an e-mail the night prior explaining the directions and process

Simple straightforward booking process

I use Avis because they accept a debit card rather than a credit card The car was clean fully fuelled and ready to go No problem with the car s performance but my only disappointment was that I couldn t charge my phone in it no standard USB point which was really frustrating as I was using my phone for navigation but it did have a couple of USB-C ports The total cost of the 3 day car hire was as expected but the final invoice is very confusing - don t even try to understand it It s my fourth time hiring with Avis and I would happily do so again

A Great experience

Arriving at Shannon airport I immediately picked up the assigned car also thanks to the fact that I had previously entered all my data via the Avis app The staff was very nice and efficient The only thing is that he forgot to tell me that I had to return the car to the short term parking at the airport upon delivery A great experience that justifies a slightly higher price than other car rental companies

Fantastic car hire at Avis West Ireland Knock airport The young man behind the counter could see that I had mobility problems and brought the car round to the front door so that I didn t need to walk far

Excellent customer service

Hired a car at Dublin airport last week Upon returning I got caught in heavy traffic and was worried that I wouldn t make my flight When I dropped the car back there was no bus going to the terminal for 10 minutes so the Avis manager arranged for one of the staff to drive me in a car - which was unexpected and definitely going above and beyond I made the flight as a result - thank you Avis for exceptional customer service

Consitently good experience

They are by far the easiest to use in Dublin Airport and the most transparent It s VERY easy and clear to rent online Much more so than other companies With all due respect if you glance over the poor reviews here you can see this is customer confusion and not anything done wrong by Avis I ve rented multiple times and I ve got to the stage where I don t use anyone else The pick up and drop off times are by far the quickest I ve experienced from a rental company

Excellent service and good price

Quick and friendly pick up at Dublin Airport Our car was a Nissan Quasqai and a great drive loads of room and great boot space Price was great and comparable to using public transport but having the freedom of doing everything in our own time Will definitely use again
