Quick easy transfer from aircraft to car and you accept debit card which is brilliant as I do not use credit cards

Easy booking

Easy to choose exactly what you want on line including zero excess - system makes it very clear on what you have bought so no extra surprises when you collect the car Only extra is in N Ireland if you want to take car across the border there is an extra fee

Car was clean

Car was clean economical to drive Not one I would want for a long drive though - incredibly clunky and I would now never buy a Dacia I was told that it would be a terminal pick-up - it wasn t and the bus service was infreqeunet compared to all the other companies Glad I wasn t in a hurry

Excellent

Excellent I would not hesitate to use Avis again Boris was brilliant checking me in and very helpful on return I took out a separate policy with another company for any Excess insurance claims which proved to be a good thing as someone had driven into me whilst parked up leaving me with a dented bumper Avis customer services were super efficient in providing me with all the documentation needed to make my claim The whole thing was dealt with in a matter of days Full marks I will definately use Avis again in the future Thankyou

Easy online booking The Avis branch at my local airport City of Derry has always given great service and they are friendly helpful people Paperwork takes less than ten minutes and you are on the road There s a really good selection of vehicles too affordable and economical to run

Good service and they have humans answer their phones

This was possibly the easiest hire I have arranged I had registered with Avis for their rewards programme and arranged this hire When I arrived most of the paperwork was done whereas normally it take 10-15 minutes of faff but this took less than 5 minutes and the chap was really pleasant The car was easy to locate and in a very good condition though it was nearly new Following return I made a mistake so called them and most impressively it was answered in 2 minutes by a human who resolved the issue Actual customer service is worth 5 stars all day long

Good competitive rate great experience

Good competitive rate nice staff in Airport free extra driver no hard sell on extra insurance a big plus gave us an upgrade in terminal desk easy drop-off totally hassle free experience and will use again

Four day trip to N Ireland

We booked our Avis rental through BA app it was easy with no issues On arrival at BFS the representative at the desk was helpful friendly and professional We picked the car up everything flowed beautifully on our return at the drop off again professional and friendly Can highly recommend Avis

Hired from Knock

Have hired a number of times from various companies in Ireland Having been disillusioned disappointed by the service I opted for Avis The service was as I hoped wished for Check in for Car seemless professional Been disabled deaf these things can be problematic on this occasion absolutely not Well done that man at Knock The whole team from collection to return professional a credit to the car hire industry

The staff member at point of pick-up was most helpful and accommodating Telephone support - which I used on three occasions for piece-of-mind matters was customer orientated knowledgeable and reachable I have used this car hire company many times over the years and will continue to do so on future trips
