Happy with Charters as an Estate Agent - would recommend but in particular would single out Stephen Henry as the Sales Progressor who has been fantastic He has kept us informed all the way when Solicitors haven t and nothing has been too much trouble A huge thank you Stephen for all your efforts and patience for seeing this through for us Would highly recommend you to others

Purchased our first house using Charters Park gate Everything went well and they where very professional and responsive but what stood out was the lady in the sales progression department called Jo She was so relaxed pleasant and informative that she made the process so much more stress free

Search for a rental property

We were looking for a family short term rental house due to an insurance problem with our home Ashley Lovell the team at Charters were very helpful offering properties trying to matched our criteria given the limited options on the market at the time Ash was very thorough and helpful sending emails and following up with phone calls Although we found a property with a different company we certainly were impressed with Charters as a company

Great service until our property was let more to be desired now

We recently let our property in Hampshire on a fully managed service with our letting agents being Jacqui and Kirstie from the Farnham office From initial call to tenant being in the property was only around 3-4 weeks As first time landlords Kirstie and Jacqui were both extremely helpful giving guidance and flexibility where needed The reason for a 4 not 5 is that the marketing materials needed a fair amount of change Since the tenant moved in we ve had a few issues which haven t been dealt with quickly and communication with our property manager could be better We also expected our property manager to be local to the property but she s based at a branch quite far from the property which seems strange Hopefully these are just teething issues

I really appreciate and enjoy the service Charters rendered to me in securing a two-bedroom apartment The pre-tenancy team Robyn in particular service was great I would highly recommend her the Charters team to anyone in Southampton Thanks again

I chose Charters of Chandlersford for selling the property due to MY previous experience when o purchasing a property On this sell staff have been friendly professional and acted promptly Everything to date has been carried as stated right down to a phone call every Wednesday providing us with an update The sell has been quick and easy to date and would not hesitate on recommending Charters of Chandlersford lovely friendly professional staff

As a first time renting through an agent I was skeptical about not meeting the landlord but the people I met really made it easy good communication they were supportive and I must say Kirstie stone was so pleased to answer all my questions when I am in doubt Thanks for making my moving smooth

I had a good experience using Charters for my sale in Southampton after a previous agent had failed to sell it in 4 months Simon was very positive and it was sold within a month Staff were always available to help during the selling process

Helpful post-sales from Jo in Hampshire

Jo Goddard in post-sales for Winchester Southampton was enthusiastic consistent and got the job done The post-sales process was long drawn-out tedious and frustrating This was due to issues and personnel further down the chain and no reflection on Jo Charters or me Jo and colleagues were reliable in communications and maintaining contact even though there wasn t much to report for many weeks

Looking for an Estate Agent in Winchester

Charters are a highly regarded Estate Agents and from the first primary valuation visit to the point we have reached today exchange for which Jo Goddard worked so hard co-ordinating everything they have been great at communicating with us every step of the way I would recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property Not the cheapest but you do get what you pay for They should really consider having virtual viewing videos - not a montage of photos but someone physically going room to room in the house - that would have been useful for our sale That s the only reason they lost a STAR
