Money Grab Spammers

After seeing an ad online I only had a short browse on the website and out of interest clicked to see the course prices I had to provide contact details to see any prices for any course which should ve been a red flag however I stupidly provided my own up to date details and once I had seen the prices that was it I then started receiving emails from various sales reps which I promptly unsubscribed from using the link in the email It wasn t enough the next day I had 2 missed calls and voicemails at different times of the day trying to get in contact with me and get me to purchase a course and more emails the day after that Be VERY CAREFUL if providing your details to this company

firebrand student

I did not enjoy the azure developer course For an unknown reason the 12 weeks program got squizzed into 6 weeks and a lot of pressure has been applied on me to take the exams within an unreasonable in my opinion time frame No answers or explanations have been given only apologies which are not helping The job offers I received since finishing the course are not developer job offers and are mostly customer service or support job offers

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with Firebrand They made me take the wrong exam which I succeeded but a certificate could not be issued When I tried again to pass the correct exam I failed with a low score because they realized their mistake after two months It was a waste of time and money and now I have to start studying all over again Not only that but when I tried to resolve the issue with Firebrand they gave me false promises and did not follow through I will never recommend Firebrand to anyone Save yourself the trouble and choose a different training provider

One of the worst learning experiences I

One of the worst learning experiences I have ever had Maybe it s my learner type but sitting in a classroom 10 hours a day being front loaded by an instructor and reams of PowerPoint is not for me There was no clear agenda or direction for the course The instructor is clearly an expert and I would love to have him work in my company but I cannot absorb all of his knowledge by just sitting there It does not cater for differing learner types at all The practice questions bare almost no comparison to the exam I felt the week did not prepare me at all for the exam The facilities are great but you won t get much chance to use or enjoy them I wish I picked another company to make better use of my time

Poor Delivery

The course was provided as a mixture of online attendees and in classroom attendees I attended online with my colleges and we were all disappointed with the delivery of the course The timings were not communicated well I expected the course to run during normal working hours but as the in person attendees were scheduled to take their exam on the Friday afternoon the course was in fact delivered over 1 5 days not 2 days which meant a very long day the Thursday 8am - 6 45pm to cram in the content I personally found taking in any information in the latter part of the day very difficult An initial orientation session was booked for the night prior to the course starting which in fact ended up covering module 1 not something which had been communicated prior to the start of the course in the emails There was little interaction with the online students we could not see the flip charts used during the session nor any of the in person attendees which made interaction difficult I think the session should be run as online only or in person only a mixture of the two did not work nor was that made clear on booking The instructor was very knowledgeable on the subject but the overall delivery and execution of the course material was poor As such I feel I need to re teach myself the course ahead of attempting the exam

Very poor comms and organisation

Over the past 3 years I have had 2 apprentices go through L3 qualifications with Firebrand and whilst both have passed this was due to a significant amount of extra work by the learners or their line managers We chose firebrand for the in person provision yet more than half of those sessions were pushed online or cancelled and rearranged at very short noticeOn an 18 month program 1 of the learners went through 3 mentors who all had a completely different way of doing things making life extremely difficultArranging professional exams was never straightforward and despite raising concerns with the mentors and account team I have yet to see one improvement in the areas of weaknessAs a final insult the last learners certificate has been sent to a large multi-occupancy office block with no company name on the address despite very clearly asking for them to go directly to the learner

Disgusting and failed to deliver exam

Booked a residential course for a member of my team to become a Data Protection Officer The course was delivered but the computers crashed on the Friday so after 3700 my staff member was sent home having been unable to take the exam 4 further attempts were made to take the exam and eventually firebrand advised that they simply couldnt deliver the exam Ive been in dispute with VISA for 4 months over a refund of some kind The course was in November and today is the 23rd April the following year Today I am going to the small claims court ofr financial recompense

Review of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course at Firebrand Training Netherlands

I attended the 5-day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course at Firebrand Training in the Netherlands twice taking advantage of the school s offer to retake the course in case of exam failure Regrettably neither session met my expectations The course material was presented ineffectively and lacked coherence Both instructors including Peter Cox who led the course on my second attendance seemed unprepared Peter appeared to have experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies but his teaching skills were subpar Interaction with students was minimal and he failed to address or adequately answer about 80 of the questions posed Time management during the course was also poor the first three days were spent on overly detailed explanations with unnecessary examples while the last two days rushed through slides in an inappropriate hurry leaving no time for questions on the most substantial topics It is particularly disappointing that despite clear negative feedback from students about the November session last year no improvements were made before the May session this year Alarmingly none of the twelve participants passed the exam after last year s training despite the school advertising a 75 pass rate after the first 5-day course I am profoundly disappointed with my experience at Firebrand Training I hope my feedback will be considered for future improvements to the course ensuring better outcomes for future participants
